Paraiso del Mar (Paradise of the Sea) in Sayulita is located in the lovely, beachfront Las Gemelas compound, which consists of five other houses, a large shared swimming pool, and direct beach access. On Sayulita's sought after and quiet north side, but still just steps away from all conveniences.
With four bedrooms, all with their own bathroom, an open floor plan with a lovely palapa roof, gorgeous views, outdoor patios, and a fully equipped kitchen, you will find everything needed to enjoy your stay in Sayulita.
Three of the bedrooms open to the kitchen and main palapa, where you can enjoy formal dining or al fresco dining on the patio; all with stunning views in a tropical environment with the sound of waves crashing just steps away. One bedroom is a detached Bungalow that provides additional privacy from the main house, but still just steps away. The living room opens to a beautiful patio for your private enjoyment and has sweeping views of the ocean and beach just beyond the pool. You are also free to enjoy the shared grounds of the complex, with winding paths, grass, and lush tropical plants, leading to a large, private, and rarely crowded swimming pool which is located just steps from the beach.
Paraiso del Mar has just undergone a complete remodel by PALMA - Architectural and interior design firm. The resulting contemporary home with traditional accents is sure to deliver an exceptional vacation experience. Safe All reservations require a deposit of 50% in order to hold the reservation. The balance of the rental charge is due two month prior to your arrival.
In case of a cancellation, payments will be refunded only if we are able to re-rent the house for the same dates. If only some of the dates are re-rented, or last-minute discounts were given, we will offer a partial refund based on how much it was rented for during your dates.
We were a group of 7 with 3 adults and 4 kids (16, 13 and two 9 year olds) and there was plenty of space for all of us. My teenage daughter loved having the little casita to herself away from the boys. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the A/Cs worked almost a little too well! There were surfboards, chairs, umbrellas, beach toys and plenty of beach towels, even sunscreen for us to use! There were also some beach games as well as cards and dominoes. We enjoyed hot showers with great water pressure (which isn’t always the case at other homes where we’ve stayed) and I thought the filtered water jugs for brushing your teeth in the bathroom were a nice touch.
The cleaners came every day and were very thorough - which was a bonus I hadn’t expected.
What I loved most about Casa Paraiso was all of the beautiful, amazing artwork throughout the home. The Huichol skulls in the kitchen were my favorite but I also loved the Dia de Los Muertos statues in the display case in the living room. There was so much to look at and enjoy throughout the entire home.
Everything about Casa Paraiso was perfect and I would love to stay there again on our next trip to Sayulita.
We were able to walk to restaurants, shops, massage tents etc and we felt safe everywhere we wandered.
Alejandro and his team were very good at communicating and dealing with any issues, of which there were few. They were available to help book reservations, get taxis and had great suggestions for things to do. Our housekeeper, Vicki, came every day to keep the house ship shape.
We give the house, Alejandro and his team and Sayulita an “A” and would return in a heart beat.
