"A Bicyclette Restaurante"-Sayulita, Mexico

Bicyclette restaurant offers the original receipe of the liquore Absente* as enjoyed by Van Gogh, Hemmingway, Oscar Wilde and Verlaine.

Yet another great restaurant adds its name to the list of fine dining venues established here in Sayulita Mexico. A Bicyclette Restaurante opened its door to the public in January, 2005 and has welcomed Sayulita residents and guests to a very comfortable yet relaxing elegant dinning atmosphere complete with a sitting room, bar, and small art gallery (see pictures.)

In addition to the incredible DAILY homemade bread served upon arrival, all dishes are prepared the same day with only the freshest ingredients.

The majority of the dishes offered can easily be traced to their French origins with a touch of local Mexican flair. Diners can decided from a fresh-daily menu showcasing meat, fish, and pasta entrees (the fresh ahi-tuna is a local favorite!) Fresh salads with delectable homemade dressings make great appetizers.

A Bicyclette Restaurante offers patrons a full cocktail bar in addition to the fabulous gourmet menu items. Make sure to order one of Bruno's special margaritas. And of course, a fine selection of French wines are always available.

Bruno and Framboise have lived in Sayulita for over four years and look forward to sharing the magic of their native France's cuisine with you.

Directions: From the Sayulita plaza, head north over the bridge past the ball field, then turn left towards the trailer park. At the corner of the trailer park and Hotel Diamonte, turn right and head north for one block. The building is easily characterized by the bright yellow wall.
