We specialize in residential insect control for structures and palapa roofs.
Palapa: The best way to prolong the life of your palapa roof is to treat it bi-annually with insecticides. Ants, termites, spiders, scorpions, worms, wasps, and even rodents like to call your palapa their home. An infestation will take years off of the useful life of your palapa. The best defense against infestation is preventative treatment and should be done twice per year - before and after the rainy season.
We use state-of-the art, high pressure sprayers to ensure that insecticide deeply penetrates the fronds of your roof, making it an inhospitable place for pests to live. Our machines are faster and far more effective than hand-pumped machines which lack the pressure needed to maximize the application and protect your investment! In addition, we always wear proper safety equipment to ensure the well-being of our employees.
Structure: Ants, roaches, scorpions, and spiders all want to venture into your home. Following are some suggestions to help defend your home:
- Keep shrubs, vines, and other plantings trimmed away from structure
- Mulch should be less than 3" deep, gravel is a better choice
- Remove trash daily and store cans outside
- Remove yard debris from foundation
- Don't stack building materials (lumber, bricks, firewood) next to foundation
Since we live in a tropical environment, it's not uncommon to have infestations regardless of the precautions you take. These can be quickly extinguished by one of our fumigation professionals. We can treat your structure, inside and out, to create a perimeter around your home that will stop pests in their tracks.
