• Keep shrubs, vines, and other plantings trimmed away from structure
• Mulch should be less than 3" deep, gravel is a better choice
• Remove trash daily and store cans outside
• Remove yard debris from foundation
• Don't stack building materials (lumber, bricks, firewood) next to foundation
