Robert offers his clients over a dozen years of massage experience and has given over 5,000 massages during his career. He is especially known for his specific deep tissue techniques combined with an overall since of relaxation. If just a relaxing, stress relief experience your body is craving while on vacation, he will tailor the massage accordingly. He tailors each massage to the individual client’s therapeutic needs to insure the greatest benefit and satisfaction. Robert lives in the nearby village of Higuera Blanca , located only minutes from Sayulita. Clients may choose to have their massage at Robert’s palapa studio located above his house or most popular, enjoy their massage in the comfort of their own vacation rental.

Robert’s approach to bodywork while maintaining a holistic awareness, involves an assessment of the body, searching out tight, stressed, tense muscles and releasing them through a variety of different techniques. The special art of deep tissue work involves warming up the muscle tissue and working with the breath in order to enter the body profoundly, yet staying within the client’s comfort range. If it hurts, it should only hurt to feel good, and never beyond that point! Robert’s deep tissue work includes trigger point therapy, acupressure, myofascial release, and body mobilization techniques. Individuals accustomed to receiving regular massage and deep tissue bodywork, are those who enjoy Robert’s massage the most.

For those who have sore surfing muscles, Robert is an experienced surfer himself and knows just the muscles that need to be worked for the most benefit in your next surf session.

Robert has been living in the area for over a dozen years. His interest, passions, and past times include surfing, traveling, latin dance, gardening, mediation, yoga, and hanging out with his dogs. He also teaches salsa dance and is well traveled internationally, having surfed in six continents over a 15 yr. span.
