Cancion Del Mar" or "Song of the Sea" describes what you hear on the hill overlooking the ocean and Sayulita. It is the best of what Sayulita has to offer! Enjoy quiet solitude or the busy bustle of the village below. The unbelievable vistas as you enter the home through antique iron gates will take your breath and your problems away! Come! Enjoy!

The home offers luxury and comfort, as well as color and beauty! We value your comfort and enjoyment and want your experience to be magical and memorable!

As you walk through the arched entrance, you are met with an expansive view of the Pacific Ocean through the Palapa room. Beyond you see the negative edge pool that appears to drop off into the ocean. The pool is fully circulated and filtered.

The Palapa Room is a large open room that is the entertaining center of the villa. It is bathed in warm colors and features a large built in couch that seats up to 12 and sleeps 2 if you desire. There are five carved wood ceiling fans that lend to the mood of the room. Dine at the carved wood table while watching and listening to the ocean. The Palapa Room has plenty of space to sunbathe, dance, dine, visit, play games or whatever you desire. The sofa is the most popular sleeping spot in the house!

As you enter the master bedroom suite, you will see a "pebble sculpture" over the king size bed and bedside tables with custom duvet covers which were created by Guadalupe, a local artisan. From the bed, you can hear and see the ocean, as well as, watch some of the interesting bird life glide by on the ocean breezes. This room has a ceiling fan, air conditioning, and 16 feet of doors that open to make the room expansive and part of The Palapa Room.

The attached bathroom has handmade Mexican tile and a glass block shower, as well as double sinks with marble countertops, a separate commode room, a walk in closet and a safe for your valuables.
On the other side of the arched entry, a colorful hall leads you to another colorful bedroom with a queen size bed and bedside tables. The room is air-conditioned, has a ceiling fan, and features local art and a space to read if you'd like some quiet time. The attached vibrant bath has handmade Mexican tile and a glass block shower.

Down the hall, the bright, cheerful kitchen has handmade colorful tile, and a beautiful fossil island counter - a perfect place to lounge around during meal preparations or happy hour, all the while hearing and seeing the ocean. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee pot, dishes, and cooking utensils. The kitchen can be opened up to the ocean breezes or closed-off for use with the air conditioning. There is a colorful 1/2 bath with handmade Mexican tile next to the kitchen.

A winding, landscaped staircase leads you downstairs to the lower level where you find another patio with yet another astounding view of the ocean. This patio has a sofa with a trundle bed under it. This is a great place to get away from the crowd or sunbathe, enjoying the sights and sounds. The covered outdoor kitchenette makes life a little easier with a refrigerator, microwave, and sink. It has an outdoor counter with stools for eating.

There are two bedrooms on the lower level. The fanciful, colorful bedroom on the right has a king size bed and bedside tables, a closet with additional shelves and custom curtains. The room has a 20 foot ceiling with a ceiling fan, it is air-conditioned and it can also be opened-up to the patio.

The other colorful room, has a king size bed, bedside tables, a closet with shelves, and a loft with a double bed. This room also has custom curtains, 20 foot ceilings, a ceiling fan and air conditioning, and it can also be opened up to the patio.

The villa has walkway lighting and colorful custom locking gates at both the upper access and the lower access.

The Villa is not suitable for small children (under 5) because of the patio elevation and the open pool. Therefore we ask that all visitors be older than five.

There is no smoking in the house. Thank you in advance for paying attention this rule.

This home is on a hill, away from the hustle and bustle and the dust of the village. It is highly recommended that you rent a car. You can walk up and down if you are athletic, but it needs to be an option, not your only alternative.
