Casa Carlos is the third house we have rented in Sayulita for vacation and by far the finest! Not only is the prime location on the south end optimum for being close but not too close to the action, the house itself is a work of art. You can spend an afternoon simply admiring the architecture, unique artifacts, and attention to detail of Casa Carlos, or use the well planned outdoor spaces to take in the sights and sounds of Sayulita's main beach. The house is well equipped for cooking and dining either in the cozy dining room or out on the spacious patio. Well placed outlets, smart lighting, and a flowing floor plan lend to an instant sense of comfort and relaxation. All three bedrooms have their own charm and everyone in our group raved about comfortable sleeping with the pacifying sound of crashing surf. The staff is very attentive and friendly. When the coffee machine took it's last breath during our stay, Ramon ran out and back with a new one that same afternoon! When we asked for a propane refill for the bbq grill, it was delivered promptly. Even mother nature delivered fun surf all week!!! Both town and beach area are steps away making this property the ideal spot to enjoy our favorite town in Mexico.

My wife and I and two other couples just returned from an amazing week staying in Casa Carlos in Sayulita. Casa Carlos is a wonderful place whose highlights are its amazing views, perfect location and attentive staff/maid service. Casa Carlos is perched perfectly above the south end of the main beach in Sayulita, giving visitors a gorgeous view of the beach and bay. Being slightly removed from the beach was also comforting from a safety aspect. (Having mentioned safety, and despite the US State Department warnings, we never felt unsafe or at risk in Sayulita.) All three bedrooms face the ocean, with the two upstairs bedrooms boasting amazing ocean views with their king beds. The downstairs bedroom looks out at the dipping pool and ocean. It has two twin beds that the couple that we were with that stayed there pushed together and the maids made into a king bed. Casa Carlos is a very short walk to the heart of Sayulita. Within minutes you can be surfing/boogie boarding, people watching in the town square, or eating one of many amazing meals at a local restaurant or sidewalk vendor. If your are at the beach and forgot something back at your place, which I did on a couple of occasions, its a legitimate 5 minute walk, or less, back to your home away from home. The three maids are the best! ...cleaned Casa Carlos every day, including dishes, and for an extra 100 pesos, they did a hefty load of laundry for us. We also had them make dinner for us on two of the evenings. Since they all have families, I'm not sure that's always an option, but if it is, take advantage of it. Amazing food at extremely reasonable prices. So reasonable, in fact, that if you have an experience as nice as ours, you will be compelled to tip big just to feel fair minded! We could not be happier about our time at Casa Carlos and look forward to returning.
