Description

Casa Nido in Sayulita is a rustic chic yet luxurious home nestled on a hillside with panoramic views of the main Sayulita beach and the coastline. Situated like a tree house in a jungle setting at the south end of the main beach. Casa Nido will be your private sanctuary with stunning tropical gardens terraced over a 1/2 acre,  providing you with total privacy. With 5 Bedrooms and 3.5 baths, Casa Nido can accommodate 10 guests.

Located at the south end of the main beach, you can walk to the main surf break or the center of town in less than 5 minutes.  Casa Nido has been described as "A tree house for adults where no attention to detail or comfort was spared." One of the oldest homes in Sayulita, Casa Nido exudes character and is fresh out of an extensive remodel.

The main house at Casa Nido has a kitchen, living room, office, and three bedrooms. The central wooden deck, built amongst the trees, connects all the spaces. This is where you will probably be spending most of your time lounging in hammocks and enjoying the magnificent views. There is plenty of space for yoga and lounging.

The detached palapa house has two rooms. One downstairs with private garden access and full bathroom. And one room downstairs also with full bathroom. The upstairs bedroom also has a magical sleeping loft under the palapa roof. Walk up the garden trail to the top of the hillside to find the mirador palapa. This open room viewing platform under a palapa roof provides stunning views of the coastline north. Here you can watch wales and the surf break from your hammock. A bed is provided for this space as well if you feel like camping out al-fresco.

Even though Casa Nido can sleep 12 in comfort, it doesn't feel like a giant unoccupied house if you are, say, just 4. The rooms are spread out and totally private. Casa Nido is one of the few remaining houses on the beach in Sayulita that hasn't been split into multiple dwellings. With the exception of the garage, guests have access to the ENTIRE house.

This is our beloved family home that we are happy to share with you. Jorge, our bilingual coordinator, will be there to greet you and help you settle in. Jorge has lived in Sayulita for 16 years and is happy to help guests as needed. He can assist with reserving your car service to and from the Puerto Vallarta airport, golf cart rental, reservation of various activities, an in house cook and anything else to make your vacation special. Jorge can be reached by email or by phone.

Access: Please be aware Casa Nido is built on a steep hillside. To reach the house from the street one has to climb numerous irregular steps. The main deck is perched in the trees and has a rustic railing made of driftwood. Close attention will need to be paid to small children to prevent them from falling over open rails, tripping, etc. If you have small children that were raised outside and spent a lot of time climbing trees, great. Otherwise, the house is not what most would call “small child friendly”.

Housekeeping service is provided two days per week by our trustworthy maid Marisol. Her husband, Manuel, maintains the gardens.

Please contact us via the form with any questions and to request a reservation. The phone number posted goes directly to the house manager, Jorge. We look forward to welcoming you to Sayulita.

Perfect in every way
Beautiful home and property! The house is stunning and so beautifully designed. It is a treehouse perched right above the beach. You fall asleep listening to the ocean, and every room in the house is perfect. The location is great, just a short walk to town. Great spot for large groups as well. I highly recommend and hope to be back!

What a dream!
We absolutely loved Casa Nido and Sayulita. The town is so charming and the locals are very friendly and accomodating. The house is enchanting and truly feels like you're living in a jungle tree house. The tropical landscaping was divine offering a lot of little hidden areas to enjoy throughout the entire property. It felt like a meditation retreat, a tree house with a hammock, and a master suite situated in a treetop. The property was much larger than we anticipated. Our kids, ages 18, 8 and 4, also said it was one of their favorite vacation houses we've ever stayed in and they can't wait to go back. Highly recommend.

Incredible Jungle Oasis
We loved this jungle treehouse in Sayulita! We spent a lot of time in this spacious and beautifully decorated treehouse. The location is perfect and the hospitality spectacular. The pictures sold us, but we were blown away when we arrived. I have no doubts we’ll be back!

Could stay here forever
Photos don't do this casa justice. This place is beyond what you'll ever imagine. The host was super easy to work with and helped us arrange golf carts for our group. The cleaning lady kept the home fresh and clean. Laundry was convenient. The views were breath taking. We arranged for a yoga instructor to teach us on one of the platforms one morning and it was life-changing. The coatimundi visits were a fun addition. So many places for our friends to explore. The only criticism would be that some of the rooms could use a few more fans. Zero mosquitos. If you don't like stairs, this may not suit you but we loved how adventurous it felt. It was a magical indoor/outdoor living space we never wanted to leave. Thank you!

This home is a total gem!
Insanely unique and beautifully decorated. We felt as if we were in a secluded jungle, but were still just a short walk from town and directly next to the beach. Highly recommended for a once in a lifetime experience in Sayulita!

Casa Nido is magical
A treehouse perched above the beach, walking distance to any part of town. It was a perfect place for our group of 8. Must love climbing stairs, but definitely worth the view. We all drank the filtered water out of the faucet & had no issues. Make sure not to leave any food out, because you are in the jungle. Staying here was an incredible experience & we would stay here again.

Beautiful home that the pictures simply cannot fully capture
There were not nearly as many bugs as we expected there to be for a mainly open air home and being able to fall asleep to the sound of the waves every night is incredible. If you want to surf and the waves aren't cooperating, San Pancho is only 15 min away and has pretty decent waves. The owners were very responsive and helped us set up golf cars for in town use and rides to and from the airport. Would definitely stay again in the future and you get your money's worth with the view alone!
