Casa Kia Ora's kitchen and dining areas are outfitted with everything you will need to make delicious meals including gas stove and full oven, refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, coffee maker, blender, purified water and built in dishwasher.

Enjoy a leisurely meal indoors seated in rattan chairs at the wood and glass dining table or on the outside main floor terrace under the market umbrella. Escape up to the spectacular private rooftop terrace ideal for margaritas in the spa/dipping pool ( prepared in the terrace outdoor kitchen) or just lounge under the palapa enjoying the ocean breezes after a day at the beach. Enjoy the views of the palms and ocean from the outdoor shower.  

Casa Kia Ora ( New Zealand Maori for " Welcome/Be well" ) is located in the newly completed Los Almendros Complex (completed December, 2009). This centrally located complex is in the quiet north end, with no hills to walk up, and easy walking distance to everything. It is located only 2-3 minutes walk to the beach, and a 10 minute walk to the downtown plaza and the many varied restaurants, services, and shopping that Sayulita has to offer. There are two small grocery stores that are a 3-minute walk away, and the closest restaurants are also 3 minutes away.

This brand new development consists of 5 buildings that surround a spectacular large swimming pool and beautiful grounds, complete with palapa shaded areas and lots of sun and pool decks for your enjoyment.

Our penthouse is the whole top floor of the 2nd 3 story building and has its own private rooftop terrace. For those that rent a car (not required with this central location) there is also underground parking for your convenience.

Our week at Casa Kia Ora was fantastic - the pictures online do not begin to capture the beauty and serenity of your place.  From the moment we walked off the elevator into the great room we felt so lucky to  have discovered your penthouse.  We all loved it so much - we used the rooftop area every morning for coffee and every night for nightcaps and reminising our day. Sayulita is a wonderful Mexican fishing town with a lot to offer. There are spas for those that want to be pampered, and many activities such as horseback riding on jungle trails, zip lines, ATV rentals, mountain bike rentals, fishing, surfing with surf board rentals and lessons, boogie boarding, and skim boarding. The golden sand beach features nice swimming, sun tanning, snorkeling, and you can relax on the sand or rent an umbrella and chairs. On occasion dolphins and whales sport within sight. There are many good restaurants and some enjoyable streetside taco stands. Enjoy the early morning or sunset strolls on the beautiful beach in the velvet tropical light and warmth. You may be lucky enough to see the releasing of the baby turtles! For those interested in nightlife, there are several places that feature salsa dancing, or DJ music and dancing, depending on the night of the week and the time of year. For more adventure you can leave Sayulita to visit nearby towns and attractions such as Punta Mita and San Pancho.
