Welcome to the Sayulita Pet Services (SPS)
Online Rescue Network

Our Goal is to create an Online Pet Rescue Network
for the animals of Sayulita and it’s neighbors.

The black and white/brown spotted dogs shown at
the bottom of the page are Nona and Jenny.
2 local street strays we personally took in and are
now part of our family. Everyone is encouraged,
invited and welcome to participate in the hugely
rewarding experience of saving an animal in need.

Know of an abandoned stray?
Need to find a home for an unwanted pet?
Lost a pet?
Found a pet?
Just had a litter of pups and need to find homes?
Can’t afford vet treatment for a sick pet?

MITA

Mita (photo below) is a Sayulita beach dog rescued in May.
At the time she had a broken leg, probably hit by a car.
The leg is now healed, and thanks to guests at Casa Juanita,
who agreed to care for her while on vacation there.
Mita is very well socialized.  She loves everyone, and runs up
to people on the beach, joining anyone under their
umbrella or table that seems to like her. She is great
with other dogs, children and large families. We estimate
Mita to be a little over 1 year. She is 36 pounds and
likes to be picked up. She is now spayed,
has all her shots,  is very submissive, and trained to sit,
shake, lie down, and come when you call and whistle.
Mita needs a forever home! Mita makes a loving companion
for traveling, hiking, hanging out, as she wants to be
with humans.

Tripod

Tripod was also picked up on the Punta de Mita Highway,
over the summer.  She was very skinny, weak and timid
plus she had a broken leg.  She is much improved after
months of love and a good home. Unfortunately, the
foster familiy is leaving soon and Tripod needs a
permanent home.   She is good with other dogs and
children. She loves to snuggle and would make a
great addition to your family.
