First of all, I must say that not only this villa an amazing place to stay but Gina Portillo, owner, is a wonderful person and an absolute delight to work with. I have stayed here three times now. The second time, my now husband proposed to me in the dining room! And most recently, we were married in the yard! Casa de los Delfines is the perfect place to have a wedding. There are accommodations for ten people, the newlywed suite is beautiful and also makes an amazing photo shoot location for the getting ready shots. There are endless photo possibilities on this property and the bright blue and orange colors make for vivid, stunning photos. The pool is huge, much larger than neighboring properties. There's an outdoor bar and barbecue, perfect for events. The yard overlooks Sayulita Bay and has gorgeous views of the sunset over the ocean (it was breathtaking during our ceremony). The beach is just around the corner. I would recommend renting a golf cart, we did not and we regret it. The town is not a far distance for walking during a normal vacation but for a wedding, time is of the essence, so I recommend renting at least one golf cart for those last minute trips to town the day of, Gina can help you with rentals. And once again, I must say that Gina was just wonderful to work with. The whole year leading up to the wedding she was so helpful. She responded to all my emails (there were hundreds), she gave me advice, ideas, support, she was more than the owner of the property, she was like family. I cannot thank her enough for everything that she did for us! The housekeepers were also a joy to have around, they were both very helpful during the wedding and the whole week of our stay. We had the most amazing wedding here, we have had amazing vacations here, we look forward to anniversaries here and taking our future children here.
