Another Wonderful Experience at Casa Juanita

This is our 6th stay at Casa Juanita. We go there in March each year. We love how consistently the casa is fresh and clean. The gardens were beautiful and the weather was perfect. If you want a tranquil place to stay in Sayulta, this is an ideal location. Just a short walk to the town and beach. This is our "home away from home". Thank you Tuck for your great hospitality. Casa Juanita allowed us to have the best vacation yet in Sayulita, no doubt.

Property: Casa Juanita Suites Where to start? Location, a quiet, beautiful neighborhood in one of the best locations to be had. We have been vacationing in Sayulita for 17 years and we know our way around the place. It was evident at first glance that Casa Juanita was a cut above the rest. Our accommodations were excellent, our privacy was never intruded upon and the amenities in our suite were 4 Star. The well maintained gardens were a joy to stroll though and observe from our private terrace. Many thumbs up for Casa Juanita P&C, Los Angeles

A treasure

My wife and I spent two weeks in the ground floor suite at Casa Juanita. The suite itself was tastefully decorated light, airy with lots of windows looking out on lush greenery, comfortable beds, lounge chair, lots of pillows. The garden which was virtually the preserve of the ground floor occupants was gorgeous with a flowing fountain, comfortable lounge chairs, a great place to relax, read or just contemplate the beauty of the tropical plants and trees. The Casa is wonderfully quiet - you hear a car go by occasionally and also the bark of a neighbouring dog or two from time to time but compared to the constant noise and bustle of most of Sayulita, this was a God-send. Close to the main square with a hefty hike up the hill (essential exercise!) There is all the sun you would wish on the beaches 10 minutes away. It is much harder to finda restful, shady bower surrounded with beauty but Casa Juanita has that! My only suggestions for improvement: a couple of standing lamps to provide sufficient strong light to be able to read in the evening and a couple of more pots in the kitchen. We would gladly return and would recommend the ground floor suite there to anyone. Tony and Rachel, Comox, Vancouver Island, Canada

Such a wonderful 9 week stay!

I will be staying here again, I split my time between the second and third floor, each as lovely as the other. Casa Juanita is very well kept, well supplied, clean and very safe! Hortensia was attentive and a total delight as she kept the casitas in tip top shape! Thank you Tuck for creating such a wonderful haven!

Mixed reviews

We stayed at Casa Juanita for 9 nights over the holidays. We extended our trip at the last minute and our previous accommodations were booked up and the only place we found available was Casa Juanita #2. The house and grounds are very beautiful and well kept up. The room was large and we appreciated having a separate bedroom from the living area. The balcony was huge and looked down into the very well kept up yard. It didn't quite live up to first impressions though. While the living area and balcony had lots of seating none of it was really comfortable. The bed was small and as hard as a rock. And the place was decorated (in our opinion) in over the top religious icons. The kitchen was well appointed if a little lacking on utensils and dishes and the place was very clean with the exception of only getting fresh towels once a week. As nothing really dries out there using constantly damp towels was uncomfortable. I am glad we were able to find a place to stay at such short notice and we enjoyed our extra time in Sayulita very much but I don't think we would pick this Casitas again.

Casa Juanita, in its own beautiful, private setting, is like a restorative oasis.

Brian and I love Casa Juanita! We love your location which is a hideaway from the town yet just a short walk away. We love the jungle which seems so close we can reach out and touch it and feel its exotic beauty right there close to our balcony. We love the serenity of the peaceful interior where the emphasis is on simplicity and form. This neutral interior lets us completely relax and feel grateful for the holiday we have earned. The view of the ocean from the roof top terrace gives us that luxuriated feeling that only a water view can give. For these reasons we love Casa Juanita and we feel that we have found our sanctuary there. It's our private domain where can make a meal, putter around the garden, lounge or read good books from the marvellous collection available on the shelf. We have been there four times and planning our fifth holiday at Casa Juanita. We have found our home away from home where there's familiarity yet fascinating possibilities each day. Home Away From Home

Casa Juanita has been my home away from home on a couple of occasions. Nestled high above the town of Sayulita, Casa Juanita offers the perfect retreat. Close to town and the beach, yet away from the hustle and bustle. I have very much enjoyed my stays and intend to return. If Sayulita is the place for you, don't miss out on Casa Juanita.

Wonderful property

I wanted to let you know what a great time I had staying at Casa Juanita, it is a wonderful property. Ive been travelling to the PV area for many years and have stayed at many nice places including some of the larger hotels, private condos, and villas so I speak from personal experience. Your property is awesome and the location at the very top of Gringo Hill affords views of both the ocean and the jungle. This part of Mexico continues to be one of the most beautiful places on earth to me. Afternoon cocktails on the roof terrace were especially pleasing as I watched the sun setting over the ocean; simply glorious. The walk into town is short and I appreciated all the amenities so thoughtfully provided in each space. It feels very safe and secure. The pool is beautiful. Thank you, I will surely be back. Thanks also to Ramona for welcoming us so graciously and for acquainting me with the property.

A month in paradise

I spent the month of July in the rooftop penthouse #3 of Casa Juanita and loved it!!! It has windows on all sides with beautiful wafty curtains and fans throughout, so air conditioning was not necessary. The rooftop terrace is wonderful for yoga at sunrise and pina colada at sunset. It's a great location with wonderful ambiance and Juanita is a special lady! The garden is superb.
