Sayulita is a place filled with love, colors, creativity, and a lot of people. Most of the people live here and others are tourists. When it is busy season, the town is full of activity.

Imagine being a teenager, which is already crazy enough, and on top of it, living in a busy town like Sayulita?

Life as a teenager can be really difficult if you want it to be, or it can be really fun and cool too.

My life here is pretty cool, but full of responsibilities. For example, I go to a great school, Costa Verde, where I have awesome friends. After school I have to finish my homework. My parents own a local restaurant, Aaleyah’s, near the plaza. So after school and my homework, I help my parents out by working. At the restaurant, I wait on tables, as well as act as the cashier. It's pretty fun because I get to meet new people from all over the world.

On my free days, I hang out with my friends. We ride all over the town in the quad, go to my favorite beach, Los Muertos, where you can jump off big rocks into the ocean, go paddle boarding, surfing and go to this ice-cream spot called WaKika, which is the best.

Not all people have fun. Some may have suffered a bad experience here, like anywhere else. Others have so much fun they never want to grow up. I like the fact that I have responsibilities, such as school and work, and also time to have fun and enjoy my teenage years.

In my opinion, Sayulita is a fun place to spend your teenage years since it provides so many things, such as sun, sand, friends, freedom and food.
