Happy hours in Sayulita are the perfect way to enjoy a hot, sunny day or a cooler, rainy day this summer. With great deals on tasty cocktails and ice-cold beer, these happy hour places are where you’ll want to be kicking back and relaxing.

Lucid Bar

Lucid Bar, on Calle Marlin just steps from the beach, offers an ideal spot to kick back and enjoy a few happy hour cocktails. And as Lucid Bar says, “Why just limit happy to an hour?” Upbeat music that makes one want to bob their head, surf videos displayed on the wall, and games, including Jenga, Cards Against Humanity, and Beer Pong, gives this bar a colorful, laid back ambiance.

The blackberry daiquiri, made with actual blackberries, packs a punch with a strong flavor of both rum and fruit, and is an incredibly vibrant shade of purple. My personal favorite, the mojito, is perfectly muddled with fresh mint, brown sugar, and lime, and is sweet, yet tart, and oh so refreshing.

Tropical House

A block from the beach on the north side, Tropical House, is a longstanding staple in Sayulita. Linen covered tables in bold shades of purple and red, glasses with fresh flowers in the middle of each table, and lanterns made of cloth and wood give this restaurant/bar a casual, yet elegant vibe. The branches of a tree with beautiful flowers in bright pink and orange hang over one corner of the patio, while plants and vegetation are strategically placed inside.

A twist on the traditional mojito (and one that made my mouth sing), the basil mojito, made with fresh basil and lime is sweet, yet dense with flavor, and nearly impossible to put down. The tequila sunrise is a gorgeous two-toned orange color drink made with fresh squeezed orange juice and of course, tequila, and is perfect for a lazy day of drinking.
