A Perfect Home In paradise
The listing photos can't capture how perfect this home is. We stayed with 4 couples and 2 children. Each couple had private space. The rooms were all gorgeous and everyone felt like they had a special room. Ernesto took care of all of our needs. Dora was an amazing cook and her breakfasts made our stay carefree. The location made trips to town and the beach super easy. We can't wait to return!

Magnificent Stay!
Casa Paloma is a magnificent home! Beautifully designed, offering privacy for all staying and amazing views! We originally planned on only one meal to be prepared by chef Dora, however we ended having her cook all dinner meals except one!!! She was so wonderful!!! Even offered cooking tips to those of us interested.

The only notes of recommendation is that for the money we spent to stay at Casa Paloma, it would have been nice to have newer or kept up bedding and home essentials. There were a few areas of the home that looked like they haven’t been kept up as good as they could/should be. In addition, the water temperature and pressure was very very unreliable, which could easily be the area of the home not necessarily anything that could be rectified by the owner.

All in all it was an amazing stay! Ernesto and Dora were extremely accommodating!!! I would highly recommend Casa Paloma!!

Highly Recommend
Loved staying at casa Paloma with the fam! Easy check in. Ernesto was quick with any of our needs for transportation and golf cart rentals. Dora was the sweetest little cleaner and took great care of us.
Views were amazing. House had everything we needed. Quick walk down the hill to shops and dining. Just a tip, run the water to get it hot. Only takes a minute but it’ll get there!
Every room has a private bathroom and the multilevel kitchens were a plus .
Pool was a good temp, and outdoor bathrooms for the kids were a plus!

3 Floors Of Beauty
Lovely stay! We loved the house and Sayulita. Dora (house cleaner and chef) and Ernesto (house manager) we’re excellent. Sayulita is so walkable (yes house is on a hill but felt good) and it means the house has three floors of ocean views!

Sayulita was the perfect size. Plenty of restaurants, shopping, beach, and live music in multiple spaces every night.

Four couples stayed at this property with plenty of space. Structure is three beautiful bedrooms with nice windows. Two nice bedrooms with limited windows. One bedroom that is similar to the ones with limited windows but you have to walk through it to get to the rooftop. We choose to leave that one empty. All have bathrooms which is amazing! We loved having three floors of living space because we could all be together or apart.

Excellent Location
Beautiful home, incredible view and wonderful location. We opted not to get golf carts this year since getting to town and the beach were so easy. Bedrooms all feel very private except for the one behind the main floor kitchen since it's kind of a pass-through room to the stairs if you're renting the entire house (we had 9 women) - but not a huge issue. Lots of stairs but absolutely worth it for the views. Communication was all easy and we didn't have any issues with the property or services - whole thing felt safe/secure. Would definitely rent again.

The Place To Stay in Sayulita
This is the right place to stay if you're going to Sayulita and want to be able to walk to everything. The property itself is fantastic, situated at the end of a secluded street along with several other gated houses. Inside the gate are well-maintained tropical plantings and tiled pathways. The house is perfect for multiple families. While everyone is close, there are four living areas (a bedroom by itself on the ground level, then two bedrooms with living space and kitchen that opens to the patio on the ground level, and again another bedroom with dedicated patio on the first floor and a two-room area with the upstairs kitchen and living space). For us, this was a perfect division across family groups and age groups.

The view from the house, and in particular the 1st floor and the rooftop patio, is fantastic--you can see all of Sayulita's beaches and central markets/restaurants/bars. It sits at the top of a hill, but is only a short walk down a dedicated path to get into town. We found that most everything was easily walking distance, although we did choose to rent a golf cart. I recommend the golf cart partly because it is fun and partly because if you need to go to the bank, for example, it can be a long walk only to find out they have run out of cash at the ATM.

Speaking of cash--expect to pull cash (specifically pesos) frequently, but do pay heed to the advice provided by the owner/staff with respect to which ATMs to use. We found that Google Pay/Apple Pay was accepted at a lot of places like the grocery store and higher-value shops, but food and services tended more towards cash only. Generally vendors will let you pay in dollars or pesos, but the premium on using dollars could be as high as 25% versus the formal exchange rate. So in other words, pull pesos, but be aware that it is common for the ATMs to run out of cash, and that the ATMs also have relatively low per-transaction maximums (though many allow you to just perform multiple transactions).

Back to the house. Great pool, stocked with the appliances and kitchen needs, AC worked perfectly, heated pool, grill with both gas and charcoal, daily cleaning, etc. Easy, as you'd want it on vacation. The staff, both at the property (property manager, housekeeper) as well as for Dennis, are *super* communicative and even more helpful. Easily the best experience I've had in that area, and *way* beyond what I would expect. Superb, and would highly recommend.

A Slice of Heaven
Casa Paloma was the perfect place to celebrate our birthday with friends in paradise. The house is well suited for a large group with plenty of space to hang out together and privacy with every beautifully appointed room. The views are exceptional, the decor is beautiful and each bedroom was comfy, private, and had its own bathroom. The pool is fabulous...kept in the shade with its own outdoor shower and toilet so no need to track water in the house when enjoying pool time. The staff was first class...Dora not only kept the house clean but cooked some of the most amazing authentic Mexican food we've ever had. Ernesto ensured our grocery delivery was set up on arrival and helped arrange a handy golf cart rental for us which was delivered and picked up at the house. He even arranged for massage therapists to come on site-and they were incredible...better than therapists at most spas in the US. He also was on call for any questions and handled all our needs flawlessly. It is hard to plan 5 days away with a large group. Casa Paloma made it all easy allowing us to unplug on arrival. Will absolutely be back!

Can't wait to come back!
We had a lovely stay at Casa Paloma.
The views and location are excellent. Short walk to the beach and to the town.
We especially loved and used often the big open dining room to deck overlooking the beach.
Dora, the housekeeper and cook was excellent - she made us breakfast and lunch daily and was happy to accommodate our various dietary requests.
Ernesto was very responsive to any questions we had and dropped by immediately to fix things as requested.
The house is large and well appointed - the local art displayed throughout is original and a step above the usual which was quite delightful.
Three of the bedrooms are amazing with big doors opening onto west (ocean facing) decks west. The other three rooms not so much so this is something to be aware of if you are planning on using all of them and everyone is chipping in the same amount of money as it won't seem fair. Something to discuss before you arrive.

I live most of the time in an area frequently referred to as the northern tip of the wine country in California, just above Napa Valley. I sold my Internet Marketing Company and, more recently, a number of other vacation rental properties, but I had to keep spectacular Casa Paloma, which I have owned for over 15 years. When I bought it, it was the worst house I looked at but in the very best location. So I brought in my dear friend, Miguel Valverde, who designed and built a beach home for the President of Mexico, to design an estate on this beautiful property. Of course, I feel it was a great decision and delight in it every time I return with family and friends to Sayulita and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.
