This first class dive operator offers private or small group luxury boat dives to Sayulita and the surrounding area’s best underwater reefs, including the Marietas Islands National Park. Punta Mita Expeditions the only authorized PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) dive center in the area, offering a full range of courses and experience programs for non-certified and advanced divers as well. Year round and seasonal visitors to our reefs include giant pacific mantas, eagle rays, sea turtles, octopus, morays, sea horses, sting rays and nudibranchs so ask about conditions and recent marine life sightings when you make your reservation. Some sites have shallow reef tops welcoming snorkeling for friends and family on board. All excursions and courses include ScubaPro dive gear/wetsuits and bilingual PADI professional guide/instructor services. Underwater photography services included. This is a true National Geographic style eco-adventure designed to be an informative marine wildlife experience. From cruising through pods of wild dolphins to snorkeling with giant Pacific Manta rays and marine cave exploring over the Marietas Islands National Park, your naturalist/PADI professional guide will be sure to find you the best of what the bay has to offer. Ask about current attractions when you make your reservation. 3 hour tours include all top of the line snorkel gear (children’s gear available), wetsuits when needed, and a selection of snacks and beverages. WHALEWATCHING PHOTO SAFARI

Punta de Mita, in the heart of the humpback mating grounds, is the perfect local departure site where up-close encounters with these giants is just a short boat ride away. And what better way to take in all of the marine life action than with a bilingual naturalist guide to enhance your experience with valuable information while witnessing humpback males compete and show off for mates or females teach and nurse their calves. Our hydrophone system brings you into the underwater world of sound including the mating songs of the humpback males. While whale watching for humpbacks, the stars of the show, keep an eye out also for dolphins, sea turtles, orcas, and more as you move around the bay. Great Adventure!

My greatest respect for the crew of Punta Mita Expeditions! Omar and Eduardo are great instructors with attention to detail providing me with the greatest adventure in my life so far! Learning to dive in an underwater national park is an adventure in itself! Great job! I will be back for more. With a camera this time!
