You will walk through a double door at the main entrance to the house with a total width of 7.87 feet, about 3.75 feet per door.  The doors are designed in a rustic hacienda style with large rustic nails and some iron work.  When both doors are open it will create a nice cross wind through the house.

Looking at the outside of the house, it will be coral red in color with gray canterra stone framing the front door, garage door and the windows.  The two upstairs bedrooms will have the 4 sided dome roofs with royal coral blue talavera tile on the outside and then of course, the palapa roof over the center of the house.

Because the house is at the far north end of Sayulita and at the end of two dead end streets, you are in a neighborhood of absolute tranquility and peace, hence the name of the house Casa Paz, meaning House of Peace.

There are three neighbors below you which are all from the U.S. and use there home seasonally.

There is a neighbor above you which is from Guadaljara, and only uses her home seasonally as well.  Her home is staffed full time with a gardener and a maid, so there is always a helping hand should you need assistance, or somebody to keep an eye on the place, currently we pay them $200 pesos per week to act as  security guards  during the construction period.  So far we have had no problems! 

The house has 353.71 square meters or 3807.30 of living space.

The total construction of the house (including the foundation) measures 476.71 square meters or 5131.26 square feet.

The garage door will mirror the same style of the main entrance door and will fold open outward in an accordion style opening on each side.  The garage door has a 5 meter wide opening or 16.40 feet, and is 5.50 meters or 18.04 feet in depth.

As you enter the great room from the main door your eyes will follow the polished cement floor across to the infinity pool at the opposite end of the house blending into the Pacific Ocean.   From the terrace as you gaze down to the beach below you will see the Pacific Ocean waves crash on the beach below and roll up the sand.  Because of the shape of the land you can hear crystal clear the sound of the ocean approximately 3 blocks below you.  To your right you can see all the way to San Pancho and to your left you can see the village of Sayulita and in front of you are miles and miles of Pacific Ocean.

There will be a pebble design in the middle of the great room built into the floor.  From the center of the great room to the top of the palapa roof is 27 feet.  From the floor to the top of the walls where the palapa starts is 12 feet.  There are 12 foot ceilings throughout the entire house.

On your left side is the living room which will have a built in entertainment center including a large flat screen TV and surround sound speaker system.

On your right side from the main entrance is the kitchen area and to your sharp right is the entrance to the garage and a half bathroom for the guests to use.  The kitchen will be furnished with the following appliances:

On the far left side of the kitchen will be the side by side Bosch Freezer and Refrigerator, which are separate units.  To the best of my recollection each unit has 17 cu. Ft. of storage space.  We thought this to be important due to the distance from the house to Sam s Club and other major grocery shopping centers.  The freezer is ideal for the fisherman to freeze and store plenty of his/her catch.

Starting from above the refrigerator and running the entire length of the kitchen will be ample cabinets and drawers  both above and below the countertops, in other words, the storage space in the kitchen is very similar in space to what you may be used to in the U.S. or Canada.  The cabinets below the countertop will have slide out drawers for easy access to your pots and pans and there will be drawers as well.  The length of the far wall of the kitchen measures 3.19 meters or 10.47 feet in length, so you will have approximately 20 feet of cabinet space above and below the countertop, which will be made of granite.  There will be a red talavera tile backsplash between the countertop and the upper cabinets.

The kitchen sink will have a garbage disposal.

There will be a dishwasher in the kitchen as well, next to the sink.

Opposite the far wall of the kitchen is an island, where the kitchen stove/oven will be located.  On each side of the oven are more cabinets and at the pool end of the island will be a  mini bar  for cocktail glasses and liquors to be stored.

Slightly above the oven and behind the oven will be a breakfast bar, also in granite, with 5 bar stools.

In the center of the great room is the dining room table.  The table is being designed in a rustic style to represent an antique door, it will measure 8 ft in length by 4 feet wide and will have 8 chairs to go with it.

In the living room there will be two large couches measuring 3 meters in length and 1 meter in depth, or 9.84 feet long by 3.28 feet in depth.  The couches will be of a plush, soft and luxurious feel.  Perfect size for two people to lay on together and watch the sunset or a DVD on the big screen TV, or just to take a nap.  The material of the couches and the chairs in the great room is white in color with bright vibrant colored throw pillows.  The material is made in Italy and is often used on yachts because of its high durability to humidity, its softness and its ease of care to keep clean.  In addition there will be two large arm chairs of similar characteristics for lounging around and reading your favorite book.

In the center of the living room is a  treasure chest  rustic style coffee table with openings on the top of either side of the table, perfect for storing blankets and extra pillows.

The entertainment center will have a large space in the center for a flat screen TV, and space below for the entertainment system accessories, such as DVD Player, stereo, etc;  On the right and left side of the entertainment system will be spaces for speakers and for books, DVD s and CD s.

There will be 4 ceiling fans in the great room to circulate air.

In the great room, two upstairs bedroom and the master bedroom, all have wood framed glass doors that open  accordion style .  This is done not only for the ease of opening the doors, but also to maximize the openness of the rooms, along with maximizing the view.

On the upstairs terrace, of course, is the infinity pool measuring 7.5 meters in length or 24.61 feet long and 3 meters or 9.84ft wide and is roughly 5 ft deep.

To the right of the pool are two rocks that have a water fall going down them into the pool.

On the upstairs terrace, there will be 4 large lounge chairs on wheels with thick mattresses, with two tables to set your drink or books or food on as your are lounging by the pool.

All three bedrooms come with the following:  King size bed with custom frame, each frame is custom designed for each bedroom, along with end tables and lamps and large closets with full size bathrooms.  In the two upstairs bedrooms the roofs are 4 sided dome roofs made of red brick.  So from the inside of the bedroom you will look up and see the bricks making a dome shape up.  On the outside of the house, the domes over the bedrooms will be covered in a coral blue (almost a dark royal blue) talavera tile.  In addition, each bedroom includes a 1.5 ton air conditioner mini-split.

As you go down the stairs from the main level to the master bedroom (these stairs can be removed and a wheelchair ramp can be put in its place), you will enter the master bedroom with it s own terrace, which will also have two lounge chairs and a table as well.

Past the master bedroom are then entrances to the laundry room, with two washers and two dryers and the laundry room as wooden slat windows that can be fully opened should you want to hang your laundry up on the line inside the laundry room instead of using the dryer.

The next entrance will be the machine room, which will be well vented, as it will contain the air conditioning compressors for the mini splits along with the equipment to run the swimming pool.

Finally under the garage floor, and next to the machine room is the cistern, which is a 10,000 liter cistern, roughly 2641.72 gallons of water.  The cistern includes a hydraulic pump that will insure that you have good consistent water pressure throughout all areas of the house.

There will be two large hot water heaters.

Outside the Machine room there is a space for a 300 liter gas tank.

At the base of the stairs to your immediate right is a storage area, perfect for storing the essentials of life.  (your goodies from Sam s club or Costco for example)

In the corner of the property there will be a large cantera stone water fountain with a comfortable bench, so one can sit and watch the water trickle from the fountain and gaze out to the pacific ocean before you.  There is also the possibility to put in a wheelchair ramp/path from the house down to the water fountain/garden area.

Words cannot truly describe the beauty of this lot or the home, I encourage you to come and see for yourself the experience that this property has to offer.
