While many of you are likely aware that Jungle Hair Design moved locations last year, this may be news to others. Their fairly new location, just off of the Punta de Mita highway in Sayulita, is conveniently located without all of the traffic congestion of their old location. Graziella and John, owners of the salon, tell El Sayulero more about the change of location, the services they offer, and how to make an appointment.
Why the change of location?
We closed the earlier location in town due to the buildings instability. The walls and door were buckling so much that we had to bend the doorframe to get into work.
What is it about this particular location that made you choose it?
We chose this location, as honestly, we could not find anything in town. It was a gamble. However, it paid off, as we love this area of Sayulita!
How does the new space differ from the old one?
We have parking. It is quick to get to and there is no traffic. The best thing for us is it is a much nicer working space and we have three or four times more room. Plus, it’s a brand new building.
What services do you currently offer at the salon?
We are European trained Hair Stylists that have extensive knowledge in cutting and coloring, from mainstream to avant- guarde technics. Jungle Hair Design carries a full range of aftercare products.
What is your specialty / training?
We both hold 4 year apprenticeships from the UK, and have been in the business for over 30 years. Expect excellent treatment when you walk through the door at Jungle Hair Design. We believe in understanding your personal image, and style is a huge factor in determining a bespoke technique to create a final look most suited to you.
We are trained to a high standard, have a comprehensive knowledge of head shape, hair texture and hair structure to achieve meticulously crafted looks to suit your own personal image, timeless, classic or fashionable.
