If you’re looking for a fun and adventurous activity to do during your Sayulita vacation that your whole family can enjoy, set sail with PV Fishing & Sailing. Docking from the Marina of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, just 15 minutes from Sayulita, PV Fishing & Sailing is close by, and with a variety of tours and excursions to choose from, there is something for every budget & that everyone will enjoy.

What is the background of PV Fishing & Sailing?

Owners Gonzalo and Diego are from Puerto Vallarta. Gonzalo initially opened PV Fishing & Sailing in 2009, inspired by his last jobs as a boat-tour promoter. Later on, Diego, (his son), joined the team as a booking agent. So far our experience has been great, since we love to make our guests' dreams come true and help them to have a blast aboard the best boats. Our slogan is “Private charters for small groups, for big memories.”

What types of tours or excursions do you offer at PV Fishing & Sailing, and what is included?

We offer private, intimate boat tours. We have available a variety of boats in our fleet, such as yachts, sailboats, fishing boats, super pangas, catamarans, and jet skis. We also offer public boat tours. The guests that come aboard PV Fishing & Sailing can expect to be treated as royalty; our team is highly service-oriented and experienced.

Our private, intimate boat tours include captain, sailor, ice, water, insurance, snorkeling gear, life jackets, and a first aid kit. We offer food and beverage service for an extra fee, depending on the guest's needs. We also offer snack plans for $100 USD that consist of 1kg of fish ceviche, guacamole, Mexican salsa, fruit (jicama and cucumber), 5 sodas of 2L, and 24 beers. Guests can also add extra services to their tour, like a personal chef, Jet Ski, food/beverage service, a photographer, and roundtrip transportation from their Hotel or Villa to the Marina.

The private tours start at the Marina of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle (15 minutes from Sayulita). Here is where we meet the guests, walk them to the boat, and introduce them to our captain and sailors. After that, the tour starts and we head to the destination(s) we previously agreed on.

Some of our most popular destinations for tours are: Los Arcos National Marine Park, Colomitos beach, Casitas Maraika, Las Animas beach, Majahuitas beach, Yelapa, Sunset Cruise, Punta de Mita, & the Marietas Islands (being a protected area, we need a special permit from the Government to go here, so it’s an extra fee of $100 USD per passenger for this destination tour).

After a few hours of fun, we head back to the Marina while partying. Please ask us how many hours you would like your tour to last, to see which destination fits best for that time.

What are your hours of operation & how can guests book a tour?

Our hours of operation are flexible, depending on the guest’s needs. Our contact hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Is there anything else you’d like readers to know?

Although a few of our boats are located at the marina in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, most of our boats are located in the Marina in Vallarta. If a client wants to rent a boat that is located in PV and wants to depart from La Cruz, we’ll make sure to inform this to the clients during the booking process.
