Each month Sayulita Life gives back to our community. For the month of May 2021, Sayulita Life has chosen to donate to the Dia de Los Ninos Fundraiser for SayuParke. The donation will go toward helping to fund the event itself, and also to improve and maintain various materials and structures in the park.
SayuParke, Sayulita's own public park, is hosting a fundraiser planned to take place on Dia de los Ninos, or International Children's Day, on Friday, April 30th, 2021 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. The vision of this event, planned by Sayulita local Luke Seinen, is to bring together artists, families, and businesses of Sayulita to create a day of excitement, fun, and music for the kids and families of Sayulita at Sayuparke. This family event is meant to celebrate our local children and families, while also raising funds to help improve and maintain the park.
Sayuparke was created in 2014 with the generosity of donations from the local community. Over the years it has been well used by the local children, schools, and daycares here in Sayulita, and the community wants to continue to offer this safe and fun space for our children and families to use. In order to continue to maintain, upgrade, and clean up the playground, the park needs your support. The park is led and run strictly by volunteers and donations. All money received by the park will go directly towards materials, paint, pieces/structures for new park equipment, and to maintain the park and any existing equipment. The volunteers who help to maintain and run Sayuparke have already ordered a number of spring riders and a shade structure for the back area.
The admission fee on the day of the event will be donation based, with the goal to use all of the donations received to go toward funding the park’s needs. All are welcome to join the fun and help to support this great cause! Attendees can enjoy a variety of fun activities, such as live music, dancing & performances, magicians, clowns, face painting, and more!
