Can you tell me a bit about yourself?

My family heritage is from Charleston, South Carolina, where I grew up with the beautiful shoreline, inlets and oceans. I was fortunate to revel in the opportunity to experience, dive and dig in the ocean – enjoying raw and fresh seafood directly from the ocean waters.

In 2013 I was introduced to Sayulita managing Cancion Del Mar. A gorgeous home on the north hillside. I managed communications with guests, reservations, planning meals and each part of the client’s vacation. Visiting Sayulita I fell in love with the people, community and the village area. 

I currently help clients plan their vacations to Sayulita from choosing their vacation home or hotel (Choosing the right house and location for your vacation), planning airfare including a Sayulita Luxury Transportation meeting you at the airport and driving you to your lodging. Stopping by the Mega store to pick up food and personal items, refreshing drinks are served while you are enjoying your luxury ride. I hand select your excursions and activities that match your travel style. If you love to just enjoy the beach, shopping and village or you want to discover and explore so much more in Sayulita. 

For the last 10+ years I have been given the opportunity to share travel life and experiences in Sayulita, Mexico, offering group travel, events and retreats. I delight in offering our guests luxury experiences, so they can enjoy and absorb the richness of Sayulita, México.

How did you land in Sayulita?

I first was introduced to Sayulita by a client to help a vacation rental house Nancy Gorman owned “Cancion del Mar”. The first time I visited I fell in love with Sayulita. I loved the people, community and the friendly village. I was introduced to local people that I know have Amazing friendships with.

How long have you lived in Sayulita? What is your favorite part?

I travel around the United States and Mexico. My favorite part of Sayulita has to be the local community and people. Always helping each other and I look forward in each visit to give back to Sayulita in some type of way. I always ask my clients to be generous wherever they do travel.

Can you tell me about what inspired you to start your business? 

I personally love to travel and give that experience to my guest. Some people have never had vacations and it is definitely an experience. Giving you an opportunity to step back, cut off technology (as you like), get to know yourself, discover new places and refresh. Returning home energized and not needing another vacation to rest. Plus learning other culture and history to love and respect where we all come from. 

What services do you offer?

I personally plan your vacation (solo, couple, group, family).  I offer do-it-yourself services that you can choose from to build your vacation. I also offer complete planning services. It is very important to choose the right vacation home in size, location and amenities. There are so many wonderful choices of vacation homes on Sayulita Life I help you narrow it down to 2-3. I review houses on Zoom/Video with you to help you choose the right home for you. Your vacation is specifically designed and planned for you. I am available before, during and after you vacation to make sure you have memories to cherish and share with others.

Tell me a little bit about your background with this industry.

I have been in the travel industry for over 10 years. Traveling by air and taking many cruises to Mexico destinations. I am certified with Signature Travel Agency (main travel academy for travel agents), I am certified with hundred of travel suppliers and have close relationships with them. Including suppliers in Sayulita, Puerto Vallarta, Cancun and more. 

How long has your business been in operations?

My business started in 2013 in Austin, Texas. 

What does your business offer that separates it from the rest?

I truly love planning my guest vacations and love Sayulita. My mission is to give my guests the best experience on their vacation and to return often to visit Sayulita with many more guest to share the amazing vacation they enjoyed. I personally plan each guest vacation and use local authentic services in Sayulita and Puerto Vallarta to make that happen. Any challenges, changes or emergencies I am available 24/7. 

Can you share a happy memory with a client? 

I have so many happy memories… The best is inviting several friends and business owners from Denver, Colorado for a 7 day retreat at Cancion del Mar. We had and Amazing view of the ocean and infinity pool on the palapa every morning and evening. Enjoying Amazing Sunsets. We had chefs cooking daily, a special welcoming party and farewell dinner. My guest faced the fears while out on Ally Cat and jumping from the high dive. Another guest was able to relieve all the stress from her business and laugh again. It was so enjoyable just to lay back and not be in a hurry.

Keep open space to totally relax and explore on your vacation. Get a chair and umbrella have the locals serve you drinks and oysters on the beach 😊
