Tierra Viva restaurant has been serving up delicious food in Sayulita for more than ten years. Although at times under different ownership and with different appearances, one thing has always remained the same; the incredible menu. Now Tierra Viva is offering sushi delivery so that you can stay home and stay safe during this time. Tierra Viva owners Charlie and Melanie describe some of their tasty dishes, how you can place orders, and what extra measures they are taking in their restaurant in order to keep our pueblo safe.

This month’s recipient of Sayulita Life’s $5,000 donation goes towards El Centro Creativo and their community theatre event. This year, El Centro wanted to put together a free theatre performance for the community of Sayulita as part of the culmination of the children’s theatre camp they run each year. In order to do so, they tracked down several top actors and actresses from Mexico City, and asked them to bring their skills and talents to the stage here in Sayulita for our enjoyment. Sayulita Life’s donation will go toward purchasing the flights for these actors in order to ensure their ability to come to our little pueblo, help teach and guide our youth, and put on a stellar performance for the whole town to enjoy!

Tortillas. We eat them all the time in Sayulita, and tacos are a staple. As you may be aware, I try very hard to stay away from carbohydrates, so I am always looking for a good low-carb tortilla shell recipe, and today I found it in my own kitchen! The best part is that all of the ingredients can be found here in Sayulita or close by in Bucerias. So if you still want to enjoy tacos but with a guilt-free, low-carb tortilla, then give this recipe a try!

Getting around in Sayulita has never been easier! With so much to see in our amazing pueblo, Baikas electric bike rentals in Sayulita makes it possible for you to get to anywhere in Sayulita- whether it be to jungle paths, secluded beaches, dirt roads, or up large hills. Walking around can quickly become tiresome, especially in the heat, and cars or golf carts cannot always make it up big hills or on bumpy roads, and often are costly to rent. Baikas are fun, easy to use for any age, eco-friendly, and can get you anywhere in Sayulita at a quick pace. I talk to the owner of Baikas more about their electric bikes and what makes them so unique.

When going on vacation, people seem to always want to return home with a nice tan as their souvenir. In tropical, sunny Sayulita, it is common to see tourists and locals alike walking around with a nice sun-kissed tan; however, more often than not, we also commonly see people with badly burnt skin and harsh tan lines. Tan on the Run in Sayulita provides air-brushed, customized spray tanning in the comfort of your own home or vacation rental, so that you can get that perfect tropical vacation glow, without the fear of a sunburn or bad tan lines. Whether you’re vacationing in Sayulita, living here permanently, or here for a special occasion, Tan on the Run can benefit you. I talked with owner Laura Bird about her company and the reason why her airbrush tanning solution is so popular.
