Welcome to Casa Sierra located on the north side of Sayulita. This house was one of the original Sayulita vacation houses built years ago by a Guadalajaran family. It was completely remodeled in the summer of 2007 to create the perfect vacation villa combining old Mexican charm with modern luxury.
Located less than two blocks from the beach, Casa Sierra offers FOUR spacious and comfortable outdoor lounging areas providing your group with plenty of space to enjoy the sun or the shade. Fresh breezes from the ocean keep the grounds at the perfect temperature. The north end beach is less than a 3-minute stroll along a picturesque Mexican lane.
Each of the three bedrooms is characteristically unique with tastefully decorated furnishings personally selected from designer shops in Tlaquepaque and Tonola. The upstairs bedroom has A/C and a king bed while the downstairs bedrooms offer queen beds each with an additional twin size day bed. Large ceiling fans are placed above each of the beds if a cool breeze is necessary. All sheets are 400 count and each bedroom has its own private terrace. Two additional days beds are located on the upper covered terrace to offer additional sleeping space.
Each of the lower bedrooms has French doors opening up to the shaded terraces. The upper bedroom opens to a large covered terrace area looking down at the pool.
A shallow child pool gently cascades over a small waterfall to the larger swimming pool. Both are saltwater
Casa Sierra is staffed with a manager, gardener, and cleaning girl (Chepina) who is also a fantastic cook. She will be delighted to occaisonally prepare any traditional meal for your group.*
Simply put, Casa Sierra is a wonderful Sayulita vacation villa combining true Mexican style with modern luxury. Our home offers anything you could possibly wish for during your trip to paradise.
Thank you for a lovely stay in Casa Sierra! We enjoyed it very much and hope to be able to come back soon. Thank you Tania

It was just perfect for our family!
Just back to work and regular life...sigh, and wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the house! It was just perfect for our family. We all loved the pool and being right in town and the beach so close was great. The construction next door was not too bad...at times a little noisy, but over all did not bother us... Its wonderful that your garden is so mature and even though we could hear the construction workers, we couldn't see them. You had a new railing installed by the pool...very nice and I gave a little tour to a very nice couple who were interested in renting over the Christmas holidays.
Again thanks and we hope to be back one day! Cheers, Anne

Relaxing & beautiful 2nd floor patio & FUN pool for the kids!
Our family stayed at Casa Sierra over the 2011 Christmas and New Year's holidays! We loved relaxing, visiting, toasting margaritas and playing games on the 2nd floor patio with a view towards the Sayulita baseball field and ocean. The sunsets were beautiful - the pink, purple and orange sky with palm trees silohuetted against the sky!
The bedrooms comfortably accomodated the 5 adults and 2 children that stayed. Perfect that we all had our own bathrooms. We had the room with the indoor/outdoor shower and that was such a treat in the evening to shower and look up at the palm trees & vegatation.
The lower patio with hanging hammocks were a great retreat when people wanted some quiet, alone time!
The pool was fantastic! Our children were 2 & 4 at the time - and the upper kiddie pool was perfect for them to play in....and when there were adults - they loved to jump into the big pool, too! We really enjoyed that there was some grass and beautiful garden surrounding the pool area - nice retreat from the all the vacationers on the beach.
Lastly, the kitchen area had all that we needed - we cooked delicious breakfasts to start our mornings and frequently used the bbq for appetizers or dinner...of course, accompanied with a margarita or cerveza to enjoy poolside or on the upper patio with a view!
Thank you for the most enjoyable, refreshing and rejuventing "commercial" free holiday season I've ever had! It was perfect to just enjoy the surroundings and the family!

Super relaxing
My wife and I spent the inaugural week at Casa Sierra in magic Sayulita,
The house has beautiful gardens, breezes, a relaxing pool with a fountain, and is just a short walk to the beach. It was perfect for our vacation. The housekeeper Chepina, took great care of the house everyday, keeping it clean, and feeding us with her fantastic cooking
After every day in the beach, we would relax in the very romantic terrace, watching the beautiful sunsets.
We will always cherish our time at Casa Sierra and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great vacation in a great villa.

Super peaceful, private, and close to everything.
We arrived to a paradise from up north in BC. Lush gardens, flowing fountain, and warm weather. Casa Sierra was great for our party of six. Chepina cooked us a few meals that were excellent. House is close to everything so no car is needed. Felt super safe and secure.
Nice layout with lots of private terraces. Will be back for sure.

Perfect family vacation home. Thank you.
Our family of 4 (2 children – ages 12 & 9) loved our stay at Casa Sierra for our first (though not last) visit to Sayulita. The location was fabulous with easy access to the beach and the action in town but far enough away to avoid late night noise. Casa Sierra has incredible outdoor living areas where we enjoyed meals, reading, naps and cuddle time. The salt water pool was delightful. The housekeeper, Chepina, cooked a wonderful authentic Mexican meal for us one afternoon and we enjoyed the fish, rice, beans and tortillas not only for lunch but dinner that evening also.

Thank you! Safe, secure, and happy.
"Hello Kerry, Safely returned to Edmonton late last night and actually made it to the office today. I just wanted to take a moment on behalf of the Alexander-Smith group to thank you for sharing your magical oasis with us. Sayulita surpassed all expectations. We loved the house, the town, the people, the staff, the beach, the restaurants, the surfers, the visitors - all of it! Let me know when you're thinking of selling or should a suitable property come to mind! We even forgive that damn rooster!!
We actually have some realtors looking for us, we loved it that much. Thank you for all of your care and concern. We were well looked after; felt safe, secure and happy throughout our trip. You are a most gracious host and we appreciate very much all of your efforts. I wouldn't hestitate to recommend you, Casa Sierra, Chepina, Mr. Ramos (particularly Arturo) and all others with whom we came in contact. So thanks so much for everything! Hope to meet some day. In the meantime, all the best in 2011.

Perfect house for our family vacation!
We had SUCH a good time at Casa Sierra that we are already trying to figure out how to come back as soon as possible. Everything was just perfect. We really loved how you have added modern conveniences to a hacienda style house. It really was the best house we could ever ask for as a vacation rental. Chepina was so helpful and we loved the meals she cooked. Will be back soon.
