Highly recommended!!!
Nice, quiet place to stay in Sayulita, just a short walk to the beach and downtown. The rooftop deck is great for getting sun and the very friendly family who run the store across the street do laundry which was very handy. The kitchen area was huge and had everything you'd need. Brian and Christine were great hosts and very responsive. Definitely recommend!

A perfect casita away from home
The soggy peso is the perfect sized casita for a couple, solo traveler, or trio of nomads. The design is true to the Mexican aesthetic which is beautiful and there is a lovely al fresco kitchen. I enjoyed the smart tv with Netflix as a nice touch! The location is quiet and only about 10 mins from the plaza and 10 mins from the beach. Close to bus station and an Oxxo convenience store right around the corner. Although only there briefly I enjoyed my stay and would definitely book again!

Well equipped casita as pictured
The Casita is as pictured with a nice outdoor area and good bedroom. The kitchen is very well equipped with all essentials plus a toaster oven and blender. The bed is comfortable with good pillows. Overall, the area is quite quiet at night, something you don't always find in Sayulita. No roosters and few dogs. The rooftop area provides a nice view and an area to relax. The wifi is excellent, especially given the poor quality in most places here. It's a short walk into the center of town and the beach. You should note, you don't have to pass through the center of town to reach the beach. The bus station is very close.

We will be coming back next winter
My husband and I spent a week here and just loved it! The Soggy Peso was exactly what we wanted... clean, comfy, quiet. We were worried that it might be too far from the town square, but it was actually the perfect distance for walking and when we had enough of the hustle and noise, this place provided a tranquil escape where we could relax. We were able to rent the golf cart a few days and even got a surf lesson in!
Poncho & Christine were great hosts and we will be coming back next winter
