I don't have a bad word to say about my stay at Villa del Moro. The location is ideal, the rates are great and the villa is beautiful and well-appointed. I think I really lucked out having this as my first Sayulita experience and I sure I hope I can stay here when I come back . Thanks to Flip for being an excellent host.

I recently stayed at Villa Del Moro and it was amazing! This was my first time to Sayulita and I am so glad that I chose to stay here. The complex is gorgeous with a beautiful swimming pool and amazing views from the rooftop terrace. It is safe, clean and close to everything Sayulita has to offer. The apartment we rented was even better than expected. The apartment itself has a nice view, large patio, water purification system, full kitchen, a safe to store valuables, beautiful Mexican style decor and comfortable bedding. The owner Flip is very nice and helpful. Villa Del Moro is right in the center of town and the beach is only two small blocks away. I definitely plan on staying here again!!

Our family stayed in the 2 BR view and the studio view apartments. The units were so clean! The 2 br design is great wth 2 large bathrooms, and all the little touches, like reading lights by the beds, tons of electrical outfits, fans and ceiling fans etc. The terrace in the 2 br is the best part- it is huge and we lived out there. It has a nice view , which includes the ocean. The pool and pool deck are lovely, with nice furniture, although the pool is not heated. I also love all the flowers throughout the property, and there is always someone doing gardening, or cleaning the grounds. Beautiful. The view apartments offer drinkable running water and wifi is available in all units. A very comfortable spot if you like to be in the centre of the action!

We have been travelling to Sayulita with our family and staying at Villa Del Moro since our 10 year old daughter was just a baby. We can't stay away. The location is perfect for families with children with little legs, strollers an older grandparents because it is so close to everything and the lower apartments are so accessable. The house comes with a full kitchen and a big backyard so it is easy and fun to stay at home and cook affordable meals of mexican food and seafood. This, combined with the very reasonable cost of acccomodation has enabled us to spend weeks at a time there, which is something we could never have aforded to do with our family of 5 otherwise. We have brought our friends and relaitives and they have all loved Villa Del Moro. The owner, Flip, takes care of all our needs and we look forward to reconnecting with him every year.

Just got back a week ago from yet another wonderful stay at Villa Del Moro. We have been staying there for several years and always look forward to returning. Flip, the owner, is wonderful and goes out of his way to accommodate any requests you may have. The grounds of the property are surrounded by beautiful tropical trees and plants and the pool deck is great to spend time around when you are too lazy to walk the 2 minutes to the beach! The apartments are well maintained and clean. Love the location because it is only steps away from all amenities. We always travel with a group and generally fill up the place! Thanks, Flip. We stayed at Villa del Moro in December 2012 - unit #6, the two bed/two bath in the main house. I can't say enough positive things about the place. Upon arrival the unit was so clean, and equipped with everything we needed. All the linens are hotel quality and the beds are very comfortable. There is a water filtration system so we could drink out of the tap. This was especially handy as we could give our 4 month old a bath without any water worries. But it's more than that - the property is absolutely beautiful! The pool area is beautifully landscaped and relaxing. We had a giant terrace overlooking the pool as well as a view of the town and ocean. There are sundecks that ensure sunbathing all day in case you dont want to hit the beach. Big fluffy beach towels are provided as well. The central location makes it easy to pick up tacos for dinner or to stop for an Irish coffee on your way home. There are windows in the unit that you can keep open without worries, and a safe for your valuables. And best of all is Flip - a gracious host who will make you feel right at home!

My friend and I stayed at Del Moro for a week and it was the perfect place. Flip (the owner) was so helpful and accommodating. It was a great price, the perfect size for the two of us and it's right off the town square. The beach, restaurants, and bars are just a few steps away. The pool is very nice as well and everything is clean. There is also a rooftop terrace that's great for sunsets. We would most definitely stay here again!

Staying at Villa Del Moro is probably the most restful vacation my girlfriend and I could ever have. The setting of Sayulita is a slow paced village with friendly people and a great beach. Villa Del Moro is about 50 yards from the town square and so everything is within a short stroll. There is great food in town either on the street from vendors or in restaurants, and the prices are very reasonable. As a result, we didn’t end up using the nice kitchen in our room. The architecture of the building we were in is warm and colorful in the Mexican tradition and our room was great. Arched doors of dark wood, terracotta tile floors, rustic furniture, and an open shower with a pebble floor are some of the elements that we really enjoyed. Three sets of double doors opened to the balcony that overlooked the inviting pool with the town and the ocean in the background. Sunsets were spectacular! We could choose to just sit and read or do more energetic activities if we wanted. There is a zip line, surfing, horseback riding, and sailing, all in the village. Flip Baldwin, the owner, was extremely helpful in showing us what was available and was a great host. He was the icing on the cake and made our stay even more enjoyable. We are definitely going to be back and we’re telling all our friends about what a great time we had.

Just returned home from our visit to Sayulita :(. Our stay at Villa del Moro couldn't have been better. When I selected this location I had spent hours looking at nearly every other site that met my specifications... Hours! Villa del Moro did not disappoint. Flip was a great host. Price was very affordable. Location (probably the most important of all) was 100% perfect. It was so close to everything that it was nothing to run back to the room to get something we forgot, etc. I'm usually someone who wants to try new things each time I visit a place, but I won't be finding another lodging for Sayulita... This was just too good.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa del Moro in December for our wedding. It was the perfect spot to prepare for the event, and so relaxing to spend the next few days there. With space for five separate families, a pool and close proximity to the town, this Villa makes the ideal place for economical housing in paradise. Highly recommended.
