Villa Gardenia at Colibri

The oudoor kitchen and lounging areas are shady and equipped with various overhead fans. The saltwater heated pool is wonderful. We never used the air conditoner because there were lovely fans and great window screens that brought in a lovely cool breeze for sleeping. This property is definitely 5 star!

Gorgeous views, very clean and well-equipped rental. Loved the sunset and the exercise we got from walking/climbing up the road to the casita (its a good workout after a few tacos!). Julie is easy to work with and excellent communication before and during our stay. I will be back!

Villas Colibri was the perfect spot to vacation, quick responses from all the staff as well as tons of recommendations on banks, sightseeing etc. We felt safe and well taken care of. The grounds are stunning and the pictures do not do it justice, it should be called Shangri La, because it was heavenly! Highly recommend Villa Colibri to those considering Sayulita, the highlight was the proximity to the pristine, less populated beach. The rooms are simple, stylish and quiet, I truly felt like I was in a 5 star resort.

I was hesitant to write a review in fear that Colibri will be booked solid once people find out how amazing it is! It’s my second time and this place is just magical. Everything is absolutely perfect! The only thing which could be an issue is for elderly, handicapped, or small children is the hill. It is no joke and we were honestly worried coming up in a taxi from PVR because he didn’t know how to handle the steep hill and the car wasn’t the best. I would recommend getting dropped off at the bottom of the hill and walking up or by someone more experienced!

This property is beautiful quiet and peaceful. The host was amazing and responded to everything and anything we needed. This property was sparkling clean, had amazing views, and the configuration of our unit allowed us to lie in bed, look at the sea from our perch on the hillside and listen to the waves and even see whales! The interior was really well thought out, great kitchen and lovely shower with plenty of hot water. You could take a shower with a special window that was placed in it so you can see the ocean while doing so. You can sit on your private balcony, and relax while enjoying a jaw dropping sunset. The swimming pool was heated and is designed to look like a natural pond, along with a small waterfall. The community kitchen was well equipped with all the cooking utensils you would need for a group dinner, and in the pool area. This was simply a spectacular stunning peaceful place. The walk to the beach was exactly 6 minutes. Restaurants near are within a ten-minute walk. The only challenge to this property is the extremely steep climb up the hill. We embraced the hike up hill as part of our "get in shape" program. If that's not you then taxis are available or rent a golf cart. We'd stay here again in a minute.

Our stay was incredible, didn’t want to leave. The host was extremely helpful with everything. Beautiful view, very clean, and peaceful. We rented a golf cart, would highly recommend it as it’s a little out of town and a steep hill, also it’s fun to have to tour around the town in. The host set us up with the best deal to rent a cart we could find by far. Was a little tricky to find the address when we first arrived but easy once we knew where to go. Overall would highly recommend staying here!

Villas Colibri is simply stunning and is where you need to stay in Sayulita. The view is worth the price of admission alone.But the rest of the apartment, and the communal area with pool are a dream. The walk up the hill is a little steep, but somehow adds to the experience. And did I mentioned the view!

Villas Colibri was heaven. Waking up to those panoramic ocean views after a very quiet and peaceful sleep provided the perfect way to start each day in Sayulita! As we are quite active, we didn’t mind the hill for our daily cardio work out! The property manager was so nice and after speaking to her about the meaning of hummingbirds, I appreciated all of the decorative touches throughout the house even more. Nothing felt cheap here. The wifi was spotty in our suite but worked very well in the common area. I would definitely return here again - staying closer to town is much noisier and you don’t get the views! Jose Luis was also so helpful in helping us with transportation, recommendations and overall making us feel at home. Muchas gracias!
