My main objective in photographing your wedding is to show your culture. Who are you and your fiance? What is your heritage? How has history, food, and lifestyle played a role in your lives? What friends have you chosen, and what are their individual styles? All of these things come together to create a culture that you've build together. Every couple has a different story.
Being the daughter of a photographer, I learned to operate a camera when I was 12 years old by following my dad around at weddings and taking candid photos of the bride, groom, and guests. I was always in the background, trying not to be seen, waiting for that perfect moment to snap a shot of the bride, groom, their family, and friends. After my dad retired 11 years ago, I took over his business and have been shooting ever since. That candid style he taught me has transferred over to my work today, and I continue to sway toward natural moments that feel intimate and real.
I am originally from SLC, Utah, but I relocated to Portland, Oregon a little over a year ago, and I now call it home. I have been a traveling photographer for 6 years now, and am obsessed with seeing people’s lives and learning about their cultures.
I specialize in weddings, elopements, and couples sessions. I honestly love all types of weddings—from low-key elopements and small gatherings, to formal/classy, to big parties with tons of guests. I don’t pigeonhole myself to only one type. You’ll notice from my portfolio that I like to keep myself shooting a variety of work—I am always open to working with anyone who feels a connection to my work. I really value my relationships with my clients, and keep a soft spot in my heart for every one of them. I don’t just take on as many weddings as possible, churning them out as fast as I can. I develop relationships with them, get to know them, and take an interest in their lives. I still light up when I see clients from 10 years ago.

Being the daughter of a photographer, I learned to operate a camera when I was 12 years old by following my dad around at weddings and taking candid photos of the bride, groom, and guests. This candid style of photography has transferred over to my current style and is a huge influence in my work. I have been in business for about 10 years. I absolutely love my job and would never dream of doing anything else! It is my heart, soul, blood, sweat, and tears.I’m a little tall and gangly and a bit of a nerd, while also being outgoing. My past-times include reading, meditating, hanging out with my orange tabby cat, hiking, camping, and happy hour.I like to keep a calm demeanor on wedding days, while also having a fun “go-getter” attitude. Because I’ve been shooting for so long, I often find myself offering my clients advice and guiding them through- out the day. I absolutely love this. Let me be your wedding-day guide!
