Bridal Beauty by Amanda Shackleton in Sayulita

As someone who rarely wears makeup, I'm always hesitant to have my makeup & hair professionally done but Amanda was absolutely amazing and made me look like the most beautiful version of myself for all of my wedding events! She did my hair and makeup trial before my rehearsal dinner, and with her guidance and expertise, we were able to figure out exactly what to do come wedding day - plus I looked amazing for the dinner. On the wedding day, Amanda and her team had the tall task of doing makeup and hair for myself, 10 bridesmaids and 2 moms. They timed everything perfectly and kept to the schedule, and even left time for touch-ups for the ladies who had been in the earlier slots for makeup and hair. Everyone's makeup was so natural and beautiful, and the makeup and hair lasted all night despite being near the beach and working up a sweat on the dance floor. I would recommend Amanda and her team for all beauty needs, she and her team are fun to work with and excellent at what they do!

Amanda was fantastic. She suggested coming early and it was the best thing that could have happened. She really listened to me and my bridesmaids and gave us exactly what we wanted. She was kind, patient and understanding. I definitely recommend her services. Thank you for everything!

Okay... where or how do I even start here? I guess, she far exceeds the 5-star rating. Amanda is a magician. But seriously, she has a special art and craft to her work which is unmatched. Her attention to detail and desire to please are exactly why you should hire her and stop looking now if you are even considering anyone else!

When I first met Amanda, she was kind and outgoing! She warmingly welcoming me and two of my bridesmaids into her home for my bridal trial. Conversation flowed and was easy, she is so lovable! :)

I am not kidding when I say I showed her a few pictures of what I was imagining for the big day, both hair and makeup... and just like that, BOOM, perfection! She nailed it. I have TONS of hair and she created the most beautiful updo that I could have ever imagined.

On our wedding day, she was there early and ready to go! All the tools and color palettes a girl could dream of :) Amanda knows what's up.

There was no doubt in mind that I made the best decision​ booking Amanda as my artist. I highly recommend that you do the same.

Amanda is awesome! I felt so beautiful all day and got so many compliments. The pictures turned out amazing. I don't usually wear a ton of makeup and Amanda made sure I was comfortable with everything. I felt super glam but still like me. Loved the whole experience!

Amanda did an excellent job on my makeup for my wedding! Everyone said how young I looked and I felt beautiful on my special day! I highly recommend Amanda in keeping your makeup looking fresh for a full day of pictures and celebration!

I was really attracted to Amanda's style after viewing all her photos and reading a write up about her. I wanted my makeup done for my 50th birthday fiesta, but was hesitant to look overly made up, with caked on makeup and overly noticeable eyebrows. I love drag queens, but did not want that look on my special day. All of Amanda's photos had the beautiful, clean look I was after. I don't normally wear makeup so was hesitant, but after having Amanda make me look so great, I would love to do it again!

In spite of all the beautiful photos of very young women with beautiful skin on Amanda's ad, she also does a fantastic job on aging skin. I had lines and flaws to deal with, as would any woman of 50, and Amanda gave me a fresh, clean look, my skin looked radiant and she did such a wonderful job with my lashes, that friends are still raving about it. My makeup stayed on all night with no touch ups needed, but just in case, she left me some products to use, which was really nice. One party guest said she thought it was my 40th, not my 50th!

No matter your age or the occasion, (not just for brides!) don't hesitate to contact Amanda, she is professional, punctual, and a great person to talk to! I can't say enough good things about my experience.

Amanda was everything that we could have asked for in a bridal makeup artist. I was quite apprehensive and unsure about my wedding day make up in general, but I am SO glad that we hired Amanda. She did a beautiful trial on me, but my day-of make up was even more spectacular. She also applied make up for the Mothers of Bride and Groom and for the Maid of Honor. We we were all 100% satisfied and delighted. Everyone looked like an enhanced, natural version of themselves; it was perfect. The makeup did not budge. It lasted all day long, through heat, and sweat, and tears, and smiles! Amanda is tremendously experienced and has the most pleasant and calming energy--which is exactly what you want on such an emotional occasion. My mother cannot stop talking about how positive our experience was with Amanda. We look forward to the opportunity to work with her again and would even love to take one of her classes!
