Casa Calabaza (Pumpkin House) in Sayulita is Mexican Modern Eclectic with a taste of Bohemia. There are two master suites on separate floors with separate entrances and living spaces. This house is not suitable for small children as there are open balcony areas where small ones could fall and the pool is not protected. Perfect for two couples or a family of 4-5 with teenagers... An airbed is available for a 5th person in the lower queen suite. Owner Nanci, normally lives on the property
Tranquil beach access is a 2 minute stroll steps from the property, down a cobblestone drive. Views and sounds of the Pacific are breathtaking and mesmerizing; the lush jungly atmosphere of the neighborhood offers abundant flora and fauna. Lounge around the lower suite outdoor living area near the dipping pool. This (AC available from May-December), for a total Sayulita beach experience, without the noisiness of town. Comfortable furnishings, original paintings and ceramics, most by artist/owner Nanci Closson throughout.
To see if Casa Calabaza calendar is available for your dates (and to see exact rates), please Google Airbnb with the numbers below for all details and you can even instant book. It is more secure, with easier payment requirements, currency conversion, cancellation policy and communication for both host and guests, than going through me personally. Casa Calabaza is located at the very north-end of Sayulita, just off Avenida Palmar (beach street) up the hill on Calle Papagallos. Best way to get around from this area is: walk to the beach along a garden path, walk along the beach or paved Avenida Palmar to restaurants 10 minutes or town (15 minutes), rent a golf cart for your stay and hustle back and forth and around the Pueblo parking and exploring with ease. A car rental can be a hindrance unless you want to visit other towns during your stay, as there is little parking in town. Good restaurants on the North end are a 10 minute walk.
Calabaza offers the following amenities: dipping pool, maid weekly. Wifi, safe, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, TV with DVDs, Mexican BBQ, ceiling and floor fans throughout, street parking for car; private parking and charging for golf cart; AC in bedrooms optional, from May/December.

Nanci Blair Closson, artist/painter, transplanted from Arizona to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico in 1992, started spending time in 2003 and moving full time to Sayulita in July, 2015.
