Great spot
Just got back from family vacation. We were in whispering palms and it was perfect for the family, plenty of room, great views, clean, everything in working order. Greg was very helpful, gave us a quick tour on arrival to get our bearings straight. Hoping to bring more families next year and rent the whole place out.

Want to come back with family!
My family (husband and two kids, ages 7 and 5) had an amazing time at Casitas Sayulita in Ocean Windows. We're already talking about trying to get our extended family to come back sometime with us! Lynn was incredibly responsive and helpful and friendly throughout the process. It was great to meet Greg when we arrived and had some great conversations with him throughout our stay.

When we walked into the apt we just couldn't believe how lovely it was and the views were incredibly amazing. I liked the layout of the place and the beds were very comfortable. The location is great to get to the less crowded end of the beach and to town. We walked everywhere even though we had a car. We had a really great and relaxing stay there and I would highly recommend it!

Wonderful Views
We stayed in the Paradise Penthouse ( #5) at Casitas Sayulita. What wonderful views! Woke up every morning to the sounds of birds and waves, doesn't get much better than that. Friendly hosts. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Sparkling Jewel
We stayed at Casitas Sayulita in the Tropical breeze unit. This is a jewel, sparking, bright happy jewel. My daughters and I had the best time. Lynn's brother Greg and his wife are knowledgeable sweet and funny. Staying at this beautiful spot was the icing on our trip!

Loved the separate room
I really loved the setup of the #1 Peek A View unit at Casitas Sayulita because it had a room for our daughter that was separate from our room and living area (so we could put her to sleep and then continue hanging out). The deck is beautiful and has a nice view, and we spent a lot of time there. We walked everywhere -- it's about 15 minutes to the center of town and the main surfing area, but only 5 minutes to some restaurants and a nearer portion of the beach.

Casitas Sayulita is located up a bit of a hill, so we got a workout each time we walked up to our place. Greg and Yadi were really helpful -- Greg even gave us a small bucket and shovel for our daughter to play with in the sand (and she loved it). Lynn was also responsive and helpful, giving us useful pointers when we were packing ahead of time. I also really liked how they have a few units at Casitas Sayulitas, so if we were to go there again in the future with other friends or family, we could all be there together but in our own units. It's a good setup. Erin R December 2015

Felt Very Welcome
We felt very welcome at Casitas Sayulita, and #3 Tropical Breeze, matched the descriptions and photos in the listing well. Would definitely recommend. It's short walk downhill into town, but just far enough out to be a bit more peaceful at night. Greg and his family were very helpful and accommodating.

Undeniably Breathtaking View!
The view from the Paradise Penthouse at Casitas Sayulita, is undeniably breathtaking and it was a real pleasure to be able to hear the ocean waves when we woke up. I will say that I don’t think that photos give the view justice. The condo is nestled nicely on a hill but be prepared for a steep climb.

The condo is placed in a location that is very close to the jungle. So be prepared to deal with a lot of ants. Don’t leave any food out anywhere or be prepared to deal with a colony. A little more maintenance and possibly investing in spraying or providing ant traps will help with the problem. Again the condo is located in the jungle so bugs are to be expected.

The condo comes with the basics in the case of amenities. There is a fridge and a stove top, But no oven, microwave or toaster. There is no pool, which would have been great to jump into after the hike up the hill. Also, be sure to bring your own beach amenities as none are provided. All in all the condo was very comfortable and the view makes up for all of the things that were missing. With routine maintenance and up keep this property has a lot of potential.

Charming Little Apartment
#1 Peek A View. This place is a great. Excellent host who showed us around and help us with anything we asked. Charming little apartment. What they don't say is that you can use sofa as a single bed so works if you are a group where 2 of you want to share a double. Thoroughly recommend!

Fantastic place to stay
We loved Casitas Sayulita and stayed in Peek a View. Lynn was incredibly fast in replying to our emails (sometimes within minutes!), and her brother Greg was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived. For example, we ran out of water a few times, and Greg was quick to give us another jug. He also gave us good tips to make our experience in Sayulita that much better.

The apartment itself was very spacious -- we were two couples. In fact, our impression was that the apartment was larger than what you see in the photos, so that was a pleasant surprise. The neighbourhood was also very nice. Perched up on a hill, we were away from the hustle and bustle of things, but still very close to beach (roughly 5 minutes). Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay and we hope to return soon.
The location was great! We also appreciated the coffee and snacks left for us.

Disappointed :(
We stayed at Casitas Sayulita in the Peak a view suite. It was a very hard transition, having come from a beautiful and well tended property just overlooking the beach... For what turned out to be the same price.
There was nothing charming or lovely about our suite... Very basic and beige. It was hard to pay a 100$ cleaning fee after just a four day stay, when there was no daily bed making, towel changing... Nothing during our stay.
Again, we had just stayed at a much nicer and ideally located casita that had daily cleaning as part of the price. Maids are quite often tipped after a stay when it is done this way.
Not on awful place at all... But for us, quite overpriced for what it was.

Tia Adriana, is a native of Southern California, born in 1924 when life was a bit more rough around the edges than it is now. When her adventure began in 1979, Tia was living a charmed life with her daughter and 3 sons across from the ocean and one of the best surf beaches in Cardiff-by-the Sea, Southern California. Her nephew Robert brought her to Sayulita on a vacation from Santa Cruz, Nayarit a few hours north of Sayulita.
