Casa Cocoon in Sayulita offers you an authentic, comfortable, quiet and colorful Vacation Rental that is a 5 - 7 minute walk to the beach and town. It is just far enough out of the hustle and bustle of town to be away from the noise, but a quick walk to the beach & town. A nice 5-7 minute stroll down Ninos Heroes street and you are in town and at the beach! There is a lot of local flair as you make your quick walk to the beach and town. There is a sense of privacy between these 2 rentals that can rented separtedly or all togteher at once, if more beds are needed.
Casa Cocoon is private and has a very comfortable vibe that naturally makes you relax and enjoy as the moments go by. This wonderful 2 bedrooms house was built 9 years ago, and is a very well built, solid home. It is a cylindrical shape house, with beautiful stone, pebble, and brick work. Their are unique elements throughout the home. The main living space is essentially a large roundish shape of plaster and brick walls. It is spacious, beautifully appointed and furnished and comfy. The Master bedroom features one queen size bed and the guest bedroom has one full size bed. Each room has a private bathroom with a beautiful open window shower with views of the jungle.(To keep the Tejones in the jungle, bring all food related items indoors.) If you require more space, than the 2 bedrooms, the one bedroom casita is also available on the same property. View here.
The casa is air conditioned for your use, when necessary. The Casa bedrooms are air conditioned, as well as the Casita. Electricity is expensive in Mexico, so using the air conditioner as needed and turning it of when you leave is greatly required. Do not create crimes of opportunity! Keep valuables and electronics out of site and inside the bedrooms, preferably.
The property hosts a beautiful saline swimming pool for your use. There is a palapa up by the pool, if you wish to lounge in the shade. The feeling is private with a beautiful, soothing water feature that falls into the pool. Thank you for not diving (no deep end!) and no glass allowed anywhere near the pool or on the way to the pool. You swim in the pool at your own risk. No heavy alcohol use by the pool. And the old rule, no running around due to the fact you can slip when feet are wet. As in most areas in Mexico, water in Sayulita is a precious commodity, so using water with awareness is greatly appreciated. Water is a precious commodity, especially where the infrastructure is not as sophisticated.
The property is managed by Casago Sayulita, a professional management team. They will arrange to greet you at the home to give you keys and imporetant details about the home. Please be sure to contact your assigned property manager at Casago a day or two before you arrive to give them an idea of your arrival time. From November to May, there is a really great Farmer’s market on Fridays in Sayulita where you can find organic veggies, and many handmade and interesting products as well as delicious food. It is a great place to enjoy lunch while listening to live music. 10:00am -2:00pm
There are a few smaller, local grocery stores in Sayulita that carry quite small selection of products you might find back home. For a larger selection of produce, grocery items, drinks, beer, wine, etc, stop on your way to Sayulita from Puerto Vallarta at “MEGA”, a full grocery and department store, kind of like a Super Target, Mexico style. There you can buy supplies and food, if you plan to cook at home. It is on the north end of PV, right on the main highway to Sayulita. Google it, and it will come up. MEGA. :-)
The main Sayulita beach tends to be a busier beach scene. If you prefer a quieter beach, just walk north from the main beach in town, for 5-10 minutes to the “North Side” beach. Another option is Playa de los Muertos, is more chill as well, which is to the south. From Casa Cocoon, continue to walk away from town on the dirt road that the Casa is on. at the slight Y, take the left. walk for 5 minutes more, and you have arrived!
There are many places in town to rent surfboards, boogie boards, lessons, etc. Anything else you might need, just search this website, as SayulitaLife is a rich resource for anything you might wish to do, or anything you are looking for in the area. There is gorgeous Humpback whale watching certain times of the year, where the whales come back to mate and give birth in the same area every year. (Nov - March).
