Casa Cocoon in Sayulita offers you an authentic, comfortable, quiet and colorful Vacation Rental that is a 5 - 7 minute walk to the beach and town. It is just far enough out of the hustle and bustle of town to be away from the noise, but a quick walk to the beach & town. A nice 5-7 minute stroll down Ninos Heroes street and you are in town and at the beach! There is a lot of local flair as you make your quick walk to the beach and town. Casa Cocoon has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The swimming pool is shared by the Casa and the Casita. There is a sense of privacy between these 2 rentals that can rented separtedly or all togteher at once, if more beds are needed.

Casa Cocoon is private and has a very comfortable vibe that naturally makes you relax and enjoy as the moments go by. This wonderful 2 bedrooms house was built 9 years ago, and is a very well built, solid home. It is a cylindrical shape house, with beautiful stone, pebble, and brick work. Their are unique elements throughout the home. The main living space is essentially a large roundish shape of plaster and brick walls. It is spacious, beautifully appointed and furnished and comfy. The Master bedroom features one queen size bed and the guest bedroom has one full size bed. Each room has a private bathroom with a beautiful open window shower with views of the jungle.T)o keep the Tejones in the jungle, Bring all food related items indoors.) If you require more space, than the 2 bedrooms, the one bedroom casita is also available on the same property. View here.

The casa is air conditioned for your use, when necessary. The Casa bedrooms are air conditioned, as well as the Casita. Electricity is expensive in Mexico, so using the air conditioner as needed and turning it of when you leave is greatly required. Do not create crimes of opportunity! Keep valuables and electronics out of site and inside the bedrooms, preferably.

The property hosts a beautiful saline swimming pool for your use. There is a palapa up by the pool, if you wish to lounge in the shade. The feeling is private with a beautiful, soothing water feature that falls into the pool. Thank you for not diving (no deep end!) and no glass allowed anywhere near the pool or on the way to the pool. You swim in the pool at your own risk. No heavy alcohol use by the pool. And the old rule, no running around due to the fact you can slip when feet are wet. As in most areas in Mexico, water in Sayulita is a precious commodity, so using water with awareness is greatly appreciated. Water is a precious commodity, especially where the infrastructure is not as sophisticated.

Tony, the house manager will be there to greet you and give you details, a key, etc. Please Be sure to contact Tony a day or two before you arrive to give him an idea of your arrival time. He does not live on site, so please give him an ample heads up of your arrival. It is best to find him on whatsapp under this number, which I will share, after you have booked your stay at Casa Cocoon. Thanks!

From November to May,  there is a really great Farmer’s market on Fridays in Sayulita where you can find organic veggies, and many handmade and interesting products as well as delicious food. It is a great place to enjoy lunch while listening to live music. 10:00am -2:00pm
There are a few smaller, local grocery stores in Sayulita that carry quite small selection of products you might find back home. For a larger selection of produce, grocery items, drinks, beer, wine, etc, stop on your way to Sayulita from Puerto Vallarta at “MEGA”, a full grocery and department store, kind of like a Super Target, Mexico style. There you can buy supplies and food, if you plan to cook at home. It is on the north end of PV, right on the main highway to Sayulita. Google it, and it will come up. MEGA. :-)

The main Sayulita beach tends to be a busier beach scene. If you prefer a quieter beach, just walk north from the main beach in town, for 5-10 minutes to the “North Side” beach. Another option is Playa de los Muertos, is more chill as well, which is to the south.  From Casa Cocoon, continue to walk away from town on the dirt road that the Casa is on. at the slight Y, take the left. walk for 5 minutes more, and you have arrived!

There are many places in town to rent surfboards, boogie boards, lessons, etc. Anything else you might need, just search this website, as SayulitaLife is a rich resource for anything you might wish to do, or anything you are looking for in the area. There is gorgeous Humpback whale watching certain times of the year, where the whales come back to mate and give birth in the same area every year. (Nov - March).

WiFi network and password given to you after you have booked. Please note, the internet connection can go in and out for no reason. Be patient and realize, its Mexico!

Please call or text Lovedy, with any questions and to request a reservation via the contact form.

Unique & memorable
The property manager, Tony, made check in and the overall stay super easy and confortable. It is very spacious with multiple terraces. The coffee machine and extra blankets made my day! Everything was clean and super secure and private. I'll always remember staying in such a unique home! We rented a golf cart to save time walking back & fourth from the plaza but it wasn't necessary. Our host was world class and every bit as accommodating as any others I have encountered on AIRBNB. Thank you for a one of a kind experience in an eclectic home!

The perfect escape
Casa Cocoon was the PERFECT escape from the lively bustle of Sayulita. With its outdoor showers, jungle views & comfortable vibe, I didn't want to leave! Sitting by the pool, listening to the waterfall and eating dinner on the outdoor patio was a dream. I'll definitely be back.

Highly Recommend
We loved everything about our stay at Casa Cocoon. We so appreciate Lovedy's communication and attention to detail. Her and Tony did an outstanding job of making us feel right at home. The house was cleaner than a 5-star hotel and in the perfect location. The house is tucked away from the noisy downtown so you can get a quiet peaceful night sleep. Highly recommend this home for anyone wanting to experience beautiful Sayulita.

Casita--- Comfortable and Economical
My wife and I enjoyed six weeks at Casita Cocoon. The apartment has EVERYTHING you need including A/C. Good appliances, furniture, kitchen, breakfast bar, out door patio, table and chairs.
Jeana is a wonderful host who promptly answers emails on the good Wi-Fi system. Casita is one block from amazing jungle roads that lead to two secluded beaches. Quiet location with short walk to town center and main beach. Plan on returning.

Memorable month at Casa Cocoon
I had the luck to spend September at Casa Cocoon. It's truely as beautiful and well located as the reviews say. The detail on the doors and in the tile always made me smile. I wish I could hire Jeana and Kenny to make over my house. It's like staying in a work of art. And the most helpful owner/ manager that I've ever rented from.
Most residents leave the Sayulita area in September and many of the restaurants and businesses were closed. Yes, the weather was dramatic at times and the humidity high, but I loved it. The storms were mostly at night so there was still plenty of time for the beach or pool during the day.

September is a dramatic month in Sayulita normally, but some people love it! So glad Pam did! We're already talking about a return visit.

Lovely views, beautiful place
I just spent two weeks at Casa Cocoon for my annual surf vacation. Jeana, the owner, was super helpful both before and during my stay, with clear directions and information, and quick answers to my questions. The casa was gorgeous, with lovely views from the bedroom, balcony, and bathroom (!). It was nice to have a pool, and the downstairs living room's ceiling fans kept me cool even in the hottest part of the day. It's about a ten minute walk from the center of town, and I easily made the trek for morning and sunset surf sessions. It was a little far for me to carry a longboard, but I rented in town and could keep it at the beach anyway, so that wasn't really a bother. Do bring a flashlight, as it's up a hill with no lights. There's a great kitchen and even a (free!) laundry room. I really enjoyed my stay, and would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful Place
My husband & I stayed at the Casa Cocoon for 9 days at the end of July and part of August 2013. We absolutely loved staying there and miss it already. Everything you could possible need for your stay is there, just bring your personal items, clothes, and enjoy your stay!! We enjoyed our mornings sitting on the palapa covered veranda off the living room, taking a shower in the beautiful open shower off the upstairs master bedroom, then our walk into town to enjoy the Mexican culture and food - then to the beach to sit and watch the ocean. Just an awesome place all the way around. Jeana is super thoughtful and I loved our conversation via emails prior to our visit, during, and after.
