Right on the tip of the peninsula in Sayulita, Nayarit, Mexico
This is our first, of likely many more, stays in Sayulita. This residence is at the end of the main beach on the peninsula and hence is very private. It is far away from town and well insulated that you do not hear the noise which is common on a nightly basis in this area. It is still only a 10 minute walk to downtown Sayulita.

Although it is not on the main central beach, it is a short walk or swim to The Dead Beach (Playa Los Muertos). In many ways I didn't prefer the smaller beach away from that main traffic area.

There are plenty of places, on this extensive patio to sit and get a tan or enjoy the view of the entire day. Certainly no other place in Sayulita has this view. In fact we counted at least eight different areas to sit on with a total of 45 seats!

The two rooms are fantastic in size and accommodation. I do wish that both rooms had Netflix. The outdoor kitchen make cooking fantastic experience on a daily basis.

There is a outdoor pool that is communal for the entire property. This is heated and was nice to use on cold days which can occur in this part of Mexico, and the time we went which is January.

If you like early sun this is the place as it begins at 8 o'clock in the morning and is usually done by 4:30 PM, if you're looking for more sun (especially evening Sun) then you'll have to stay on the other end of the beach.

Mr Hill, Antonio, Sarah, and the cleaning ladies all made the trip incredibly easy. Transportation was booked/ arranged through them, including a grocery stop, allowing us to cook several meals in our property.

When comparing two similar properties on the other end of the beach, the price is the same. The only difference I see is being on the central Beach and being closer to downtown with these other places, but certainly you do not get the view of Sayulita as this place provides, nor access to this Playa Los Muertes as mentioned above.

Amazing views!!
This is great wonderful retreat!! The two bedrooms and bath are the only rooms inside!! ... The outdoor kitchen is covered however open on two sides... Living room and sitting areas all are open air.. Very beautiful!!! I loved the arches... The weather was perfect there were no bugs all any kind...
We could watch the surfers, boats, water birds, the lights of town... However we didn't have the night music that town has.... Just the sound of the water... The master bedroom water sound was loud.. The water hit rocks and made crashing sounds..
Great trip:)) enjoyed our location a lot!

Excellent place except for wedding music
We recently spent a week at El Nido with our two young children. We loved the suite and the amazing view of town and the bay. Everything was very comfortable and very clean, the house manager was very friendly and helpful and it was great having a pool for the children. We liked being out of town a bit and rented a golf cart to make it easy to pop into town with our little ones. Otherwise it's a quick walk to town or over the hill to Playa Los Muertos. We would stay there again in a heartbeat except for the wedding venue immediately behind Casa Los Arcos and on level with El Nido. There were events there 4 of the 7 nights we were there. Only two of them involved DJs and loud music until ~1am, but that was a major detractor from the relaxing experience on those two nights. Not sure how they will resolve this issue but they definitely should as the place is otherwise a total gem...

Incredible View!

My wife and I went to Sayulita with her Parents and we stayed at El Nido at Casa los Arcos during the last week in February of 2015.

Aside from Sayulita being a wonderful beach town with just enough to keep you busy and relaxed, what topped our experience was the incredible stay we had at this premises. El Nido is the top floor of this building and so you will have to walk a few steps to get up there, but it is so well worth it as you can see from the pictures of the view.

One of the showers has a view to the ocean so one can stare into bliss even while showering. The sound of the waves can wake you up every morning if you leave the windows open at night. The king size beds are perfect. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could possibly need including a large fridge, a microwave, dishes, cutlery, etc. A very nice cleaning lady comes over every morning to make your bed, clean up etc. The toilets in Mexico cannot handle toilet paper but all we had to do is use the bins they provided which was not a problem at all. The outdoor bar is a perfect spot to sit and enjoy a home made mojito.

Having Ben, the property manager, there was so extremely helpful. He was always just a WhatsApp message away and always willing to help or assist in any way. Overall, we recommend this property to anyone who enjoys having a quiet place away from the hustle & bustle of all-inclusive resorts.

Make sure you walk out to the balcony/patio area at night and look up at the stars ...!

I have been renting vacation rental homes in Mexico and Florida since 1999. Today I rent about 45 properties, mostly in Puerto Vallarta, Sayulita and Fort Lauderdale/Wilton Manors. I own about 18 of the homes, some by myself and some with a business partner. Although I am an agent, I have a close connection to all of those who's homes I rent. In many cases, I designed the interiors for the property, and then took over rentals and management. All of our properties are self contained living spaces with no interior spaces shared with others. Some of the garden and pool areas are shared. In both Mexico and the US we have full time staff to make sure your stay goes smoothly. So if you are looking for a great vacation in Puerto Vallarta or Fort Lauderdale/Wilton Manors, give us a try.
