Hacienda Hilda in Sayulita is nestled comfortably within a private quiet hillside garden oasis with stunning tree top jungle views. The newly constructed property holds two separate dwellings which were carefully designed and constructed with the blending of contemporary ecological design in concert with traditional Mexican craftsmanship and local materials to create a safe harbor of tranquility in the middle of the tropical jungle. It is situated only minutes away from the famous surf break and beaches of the bohemian village of Sayulita and the bustling good times of the plaza, restaurants, bars, and shopping mercados, which you can leave behind in the quiet jungle setting of the Hacienda Hilda.
The upper Hacienda Hilda is a spacious contemporary & ecological rendition of the Hacienda style that transports you back in time with tall traditional wood ceilings, stone walls, a shaded veranda with a bubbling fountain, artful floors and walls. The kitchen is fully equipped for group meal preparations or optional chef-prepared dinners on-site which may be shared and enjoyed at the long wood slab communal dining table with numerous ceiling fans for airflow. The covered yet, open-air [with movable glass walls] living space adjacent to the dining area offers plenty of comfortable seating to allow time to enjoy the ambiance of the pool terrace and jungle views while taking the first morning coffee or indulging in long conversations and sipping specialty tequilas and mezcals. It is fully accommodated with air conditioning, purified water, and internet access. The outdoor terrace accompases a heated pool "cenote" surrounded by stone walls on two sides and is served by a splashing waterfall. An outdoor wood fired BBQ, sink, shower and bathroom completes the landscaped garden terrace where the sun sets.
The bedroom of the Hacienda Hilda is a large and spacious place with its own secure separate entry, large private bathroom, small terrace, and is fully accommodated with ceiling fans, air conditioning, purified water, and internet access. It is situated to look out onto the spacious morning jungle views from the large windows and opening walls.
The lower Estudio de Jardin is a smaller, private rendition of the Hacienda Hilda with tall traditional wood ceilings, artful floors and walls with its own secure separate entry, and small tiled bathroom. It is fully accommodated with air conditioning, ceiling fans, purified water, and internet access. A small indoor/outdoor kitchen connects the sleeping area with its opening glass walls with a private garden terrace with jungle views.
A beautiful and tranquil experience awaits you at Hacienda Hilda in Sayulita, where little by little, you relax into a slower pace of life and enjoy the beauty of the natural jungle sounds, far views and fresh air that surround you.

Hilda is a native of Mexico. She has lived in the US for many years, and traveled the world in search of unique experiences with her husband Tim [who first visited Sayulita in 2000]. With a desire to return home, they traveled throughout Mexico looking for "that place", and found, designed and built their place in Sayulita. They spend their time between the Hacienda Hilda and the HildaHaus, their netzero mountain hideout @ 9000' in Colorado, of course, with their dog Lucca.
