Our Favorite Place in Sayulita!
My wife and i recently got married here and couldn't have picked a better place. Everything from the food, to the atmosphere, people, and customer service was perfect. Claudia was extremely helpful in planning and organizing the event. We joked that 'this is too easy' because with every detailed request we would get simple answers: "Yes" and "no problem". Upon arrival we quickly learned that it was that easy! We sampled the menu and beers a few days prior to our wedding and they were both delicious. 10/10 would through another party/celebration here.

Fantastic beer
Great little spot with super tasty craft beers on tap. Super convenient, stop for a beer on the way into town or when coming home from the beach. Only down side is the smell that wafts over from the sewage treatment plant.

Fantastic Food and great beer
My wife and I stopped here for a snack and a beer and loved it. The food was elevated and inspired Mexican food, which was something we were craving and not finding in many places. It is primarily seafood- we had an amazing octopus dish and a delicious brandade-style dish. Highly recommend it- very chill setting, well balanced beers (we had the lager and pale ale), and friendly service. A visit to the beach bar is also recommended!

Excellent Service- Mara is fantastic!
The service here is always great. I believe Mara is the general manager of Palmar and she ALWAYS makes sure our groups are always taken care of. She goes above and beyond to train her staff and we always get the best recommendations for beer pairings with our food.

The location is just magical, a little tropical oasis in the middle of the jungle. Great local, craft beer on tap. With the location being as remote as it is, I understand some beers don't pour as icy cold as they would in a regular restaurant- you gotta remember we're in the jungle, people! Their anniversary ales are SO good. I wish they had them year round.

I love how their menu is a celebration of traditional foods from Nayarit and Colima (where the beer is brewed). The Zarandeado is one of my favorites and their pulled beef burger is out of this world. I always leave there feeling satisfied and happy. Keep doing what you're doing!

Excellent beer, especially after your 500th lager
My dad is an awarded home brewer in the States. He says the blonde was the best blondes he's ever had. They had great food pairings as well. I can't remember what I ordered, but it wasn't on my plate for long. The staff is excellent and attentive.

The only downside is that it's tough to get to if you haven't been there before. It's just over the river from downtown. If the river is flowing, you have to walk up a few blocks, cross a bridge, and then backtrack in the dark. They do a great job of lighting up the outside area, but would be awesome if there was an easier way to get there (particularly for first timers). But hey, it's part of the experience!

Delicious beer in paradise!
Visited Trapiche twice on our short trip to Sayulita - it was just the perfect spot to unwind with a delicious beer. Didn't try any of the food but loved both of the IPAs. Beautiful gardens!

Delicious Food - Outstanding service - Great Atmosphere!
Palmar Trapiche is definitely one of our favourite restaurants in Sayulita! As a date night, a Sunday afternoon with friends or an aperitif moment, Palmar Trapiche is the spot! We have been here several times and my husband always goes back for the Ribs. We love their appetizers and their seafood pasta is yummy! Their chef is a well know chef in Mexico. Their menu is creative and Fusion Mexican cuisine. Also, if you are not a beer fan, they serve very good wines! A must try when you are in Sayulita. The setting and the music make the whole experience complete!

Food Poisoning
While we very much loved the ambiance and the beers, 5 out of 6 members of our dinner party had the ribs and/or house burger made with rib meat and 5 out of 6 of us had raging food poisoning for the next several days. After talking with a member of the staff about this issue two days later, the response was lacking; therefore, I am writing this review to make sure this issue gets addressed and does not negatively affect anyone else's vacation, as we lost a couple of days of our trip to Sayulita. As a side note, the one member of our group who had the fish said it was the best fish she has ever had.

True beer lovers!
The variety of beer is excellent. The IPA Revenge is my favorite, but the ales and porters are delicious as well. I always bring home a six-pack of something. Don't forget to try the house burger!
