Description

Villa PCaso in Sayulita is a stunningly designed home with whimsical touches that will delight lovers of both art and architecture. Located on the south side of town, perched on a hill in a quiet neighborhod, the views of the ocean and surrounding hillsides will take your breath away.

With four bedrooms and four bathrooms, there is plenty of space for your group or family. The bedrooms all have air conditioning and en suite baths. You will love the open air showers that afford privacy while still letting you see the view, whether it be the ocean, or the lush tropical plantings that surround the grounds.

The unique, Picasso inspired swimming pool is large, heated, with a saltwater filtration system, so you don't have to worry about the harsh smell or damage that comes with chlorinated pools. Shaped like a face in a Picasso painting, there are sitting areas, a shallow area, jacuzzi area with jets, and the pool is long enough to swim laps.

The kitchen is well appointed with anything you might need to prepare meals at home, including a coffee maker, bean grinder, and a blender for your favorite frozen libations or morning smoothies. There is covered, yet open air dining space on the large terrace.

The ocean view living room is large, with plenty of seating, and an expansive outdoor terrace with great views. There is a fireplace for chilly nights (which may arrive once or twice a year) and a delightful art piece with lights and water feature.

An office and an exercise room round out the indoor appointments.

The expansive roof top terrace has stellar views of the ocean and jungle covered hillsides. There is a wet bar/kitchenette area with sink and mini fridge and bar seating. There are additional loungers and chairs in the shady covered area, or you can soak up the sun.

The best feature of the house has been Pepe, my houseman.  I know of no other home in Sayulita that has a person of his caring magnitude, not to mention his cooking and margarita making talents! He will see to it that you have the best experience possible while in Sayulita at Villa PCaso.  Pepe is the heart of Villa PCaso.  The next best feature, is the 5 minute walk to the town plaza or main beach. A gradual slope, but the last 50 feet or so, coming up, will take your breath away. I always mention, taking a cab from the plaza up, is only 60 pesos, for those not wishing to walk back up.

Additional features are listed below, and include everything you would expect from a full service Villa. Please browse through the photos, the rave reviews, and other sections of info available here,  to see if VillaPCaso is right for you and your group.

When you are ready to book VillaPCaso, send me an email via the contact information provided, and I will send you a reservation confirmation from where I manage the bookings of my house,  Bigbridge, where you follow a link to fill in your information, read and accept the rental agreement and pay your deposit through Paypal with a Credit Card.  Safe and secure for us both, and is the same system I have used for 9 years. I do have other payment options as well.  We have never had issues.

Pepe and I hope to see you and your group soon!  Villa PCaso in Sayulita is magic, inside and out. All are welcome.

Loved Villa PCaso!
Tom is a great host, and after check in he took us on a tour of town. Showed us where to get the best fish tacos and showed us his "beach house". He offered us use of his chairs and umbrella which are pretty much a necessity on the beach. The bed was better than I expected. The shower is awesome. I would stay here again.

Wow!
Villa Pcaso is a truly special spot in Sayulita. Tom was wonderful and we enjoyed the time we spent chatting and learning about where to go. The Penthouse suite itself has a remarkable view, super comfy bed and a private entrance. We felt like we had our own condo. The location couldn't be better with a quick 5 minute walk into town and 8 minutes to the beach. We rented a golf cart one day to do more sightseeing, but the walk really helped us work off all those margaritas! We cannot wait to go back.

Perfect Family Vacation and New Year's Celebration !!!
Hard to know where to begin and where to end. This vacation surpassed all expectations. The art and detail of this home must be seen in person. It is indescribable. My husband and I and our three adult children were lucky enough to be here for 8 nights. That allowed plenty of time for down days to enjoy the home, mixed in with adventure. When renting a villa, location is key. The hilltop view of this home is unmatched. You are away from the crowds, but just close enough to cruise into town on the Golf Cart! Pepe sets this house apart from the others. His daily presence makes everything so easy! He cooked many breakfasts and dinners, shopped, fixed anything, and connected us with people to make the vacation very personal. We had in house massages, surfing lessons , family photo shoot, guided hike in the jungle, private beach access, all day boat trip, anything we asked for, he found for us. He is a very kind man. Tom was so wonderful to work with . The food in Sayulita is absolutely delicious and we come from spoiled Northern CA. We never made it to all places we wanted - but we will be back! This trip will never be forgotten. The best attribute about Sayulita is the feeling of being apart of very small town and living authentically while there - not in an American Resort amid all Americans eating American food. Villa Pcaso is luxury living while nestled in an amazingly kind, clean, and calm town. Just the right mix of everything. You won't be disappointed!

Surprise Birthday Party
For my husband's 35th birthday, I planned an elaborate itinerary that included six of his best friends flying in throughout the week leading up to our time in Sayulita. Before settling into chill days in Sayulita, we mountain biked, hiked and ran our way around Jalisco. The grand finale was four days staying at the magical palace of Villa PCaso, which surpassed all photos and expectations.

There were eight of us total (three couples and two single dudes), perfect for the villa layout. Lazy mornings kicking it in the pool or doing yoga on one of the many decks were the perfect ways to ease into surfing (or getting pounded by surf). Our days were capped off with Pepe's perfect margaritas on the rooftop patio where we enjoyed expansive views of jungle, mountains, ocean and Sayulita. Pepe was absolutely wonderful, making us feel at ease and cared for throughout our time. His cooking, good humor and willingness to help out with the party planning far exceeded my wildest hopes and dreams and blew our weekend out of the water. He even ordered a cake for the party night! His son, Jose, was a super fun addition to our crew, providing many smiles, big help for Pepe and good Spanish-speaking practice for the rest of us. This clearly is the coolest house on the planet. My only regret was that I didn't ask Pepe to cook breakfast or do margaritas every single night. He's a true gem and I can't sing his praises enough.

Thanks, Tom, for opening your mystical home to us! Looking forward to the next!!

Gorgeous House, Friendly Staff
We spent a week at Villa Pcaso and absolutely loved it. The owner and staff are wonderful. We were traveling as a family of 8.. two grandparents, two parents, and four children between the ages of 8-13.

We would recommend this house for groups that don't need the fourth bedroom as the one on the lower level is not ideal for folks wanting fresh air and a view. The large glass doors need to remain closed due to being at ground level and there are no windows. Other than that, the top floors are amazing with terrific views on a very nice property. Folks with mobility issues should know they will be needing the golf cart (provided) as the hill gets steep.

The perfect getaway
Eight friends spent a week at Tom's beautiful house in Sayulita - and it was even better than we could have asked for. Waking up to the most beautiful sunny day, or gazing at the stars and huge moon every night - this has to be one of the best views in town. The rooms are all so comfortable, it felt more like a home away from home than a totally unfamiliar rental house.

Pepe is amazing, he made the most delicious octopus and shrimp ceviche we have ever had (and the margaritas sure were tasty). Every morning started with a refreshing dip in the Picasso pool - and the town and Playa de Los Muertos (beautiful, less busy beach) are just a quick jaunt away.

Highly recommend Villa Pcasso - we are already planning our return trip!!

Priceless
Seven of us from Cleveland spent a week at Villa PCaso in Sayulita over the New Year week. It was
our 30th wedding anniversary and it could not have been better. Tom helped us plan some outings prior to our arrival (go fishing, snorkeling and whale watching with Enrique) and gave us a name for a Taxi service that was always prompt.

The house is awesome- see the photos on the website. When at Villa PCaso, we spent most of our time on the patio listening to music, playing games, swimming, eating, laughing and drinking. Each couple had their own comfortable bedroom and private bathroom with outdoor showers.

The weather was perfect. We were so glad we were far enough away from the main Plaza to avoid the evening noise but close enough to walk to town or the beaches. Pepe was always available for answering questions and helping us get around. He made one dinner for us and it was truly the best of our visit. Thank you Tom and Pepe for giving us a memorable week. Not sure what we will do for our 40th...

Beautiful vistas, a fabulous home, and a quaint Mexican surf at your feet!
My party arrived on one of the last flights into Puerto Vallarta, so we were a little worried that we would have trouble getting to the house at night after picking up the rental car, etc. NO PROBLEMA! Our car rental included a shuttle to their offices in Bucerias which was right between the airport and our destination. Perfecto! Our rental agents gave us maps and set us up for the easiest pick up and drop off rental ever. We used their directions and drove right to Sayulita. Made a short stop at a convenience store at the turn off, made it to town in the hustle and bustle of Sayulita in the evening. Could not figure out the street to the casa, called the house, NO PROBLEMA! Our host was down at the plaza in five minutes to show us up to his humble abode.

The house was magnificent at night, but when we woke in the morning, it was a spectacular feast for the eyes! We were in the penthouse suite with its soothing jungle tree-house appeal. As the sun began to rise over the bay, we were treated to the most beautiful colors and 360 degree views. We were giddy with our luck to be in such a wonderful place. It's as though the iguanas were queued to make a bit of noise in the tree branches outside our windows as a perfect wake-up call and greeting to Sayulita!

All of the rooms were unique, had open air outdoor showers and really comfy beds! Our host has an eye for the perfect artistic touch at each turn on the property, it's very fun to see what's waiting for you around each corner!

We spent most of our time enjoying the house, the use of the kitchen and pool. We ventured into Puerto Vallarta for an afternoon and enjoyed the old world charm of Viejo Vallarta. We chartered a local fisherman to take us fishing a couple of mornings from the beach in Sayulita (less than five minutes down the hill). We took a Sunday drive up the coast to neighboring San Pancho and Guayabita. All worth the while for the short adventurer. In San Pancho, we were greeted at our van by folks with trays of doughnuts. Who can say no to curbside doughnuts? Not this group!!

August may not have been the best time for the fish, but we certainly had fun cruising back and forth along the most beautiful Pacific coastline from Sayulita to Punta de Mita. We are all trying to figure out how and when we will return. We have our hearts set on more relaxation and exploring more of the area.

Next time, fish, you're ours!

Absolutely perfect - a magical place
We recently had our wedding in Sayulita and stayed at Villa Pcaso or "Toms house" as it's affectionately known throughout the town. We had seen the pictures online and were quite impressed, but nothing we had read could prepare us for this amazing house. It is an architecural wonder that was clearly built to allow the guest to enjoy the breathtaking views of Sayulita as well as the tropical gardens that surround the property. Throughout the house we were continually impressed by the thoughtful design; every detail has been carefuly considered to surround you in luxury and comfort.

The best part of the house however is definitely the people. From the moment you arrive, Tom, Pepe and Maribel take care of you like family. Pepe and Maribel work like magic in the background, unobtrusively cleaning up after the guests and taking care of the grounds. For only the cost of food and tip, Pepe can make you the most amazing meals. We are from Manhattan and the quality of Pepe's food is on par with any NYC restaurant. We were SO impressed with his cooking that we asked him to make the food for a welcome party we had for 40 people as a pre-wedding event. He said "no problem" then recruited some of his family members and friends who worked all day cooking up a feast for us then stayed all night making drinks for our guests. And I'll say the only thing better than Pepe's guacamole or chicken mole are his margaritas! If you want a truly magical experience, then I highly recommend Villa Pcaso in Sayulita.

Most Comfortable and Charming Villa
Immediately impressed by the spaciousness and stunning view that this property offers, it was easy for our group of 4 people to quickly settle in. From served breakfasts and constant assistance to any of our desires, i.e. Pepe makes amazing Margaritas, we didn't have anything to worry about, only everything to enjoy.

The property is close to the town's center but far enough to be outside of the fun and music offered in Sayulita (restaurants, bars, plaza gathering, etc).

If time allowed, I would rent this villa for a few months at a time. Thanks for everything Pepe and Tom!

I came to Sayulita in 2003, to remodel VillaPCaso, and design high end tropical gardens using my favorite tropical palm trees!!Originally, the house, with spectacular views out every window, was the ugliest in Sayulita when I bought it, and not a plant or stick on the grounds anywhere! After 3.5 years remodeling,VillaPCaso evolved, into a "live in" work of art which has been shared with my guests for the last 8 years! Why the name "PCaso?" I did not want to rip off Pablo P's name.. so to speak as a joke with a funny story to boot. You will have to come here to know the story!Cheers!Tom
