Ian and Kerry, along with the entire SayulitaLife team, send their heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Tom McElhenney, who passed away on August 28, 2018, after a battle with lung cancer.

Originally from Texas, where he ran a successful nursery in West Austin for 15 years, Tom followed his dreams and moved to Sayulita in 2004, where he got to work creating his masterpiece, Villa PCaso and the magnificent tropical gardens that surround his lovely vacation rental.

Tom was always smiling, loved telling jokes, and was one of the kindest souls you could ever meet. "Big Tom" had a wonderful sense of humor and cared deeply for his friends and family. Tom will be greatly missed by all those who knew him, and especially by those here in Sayulita for whom he created lovely gardens and shared jokes.

Whenever friends or family were hurting or ill, Tom had a habit of saying, "Angels are surrounding you".  Rest in peace Tom; enjoy the new wings!
