I talk with owner Rebecca D'este about the exciting changes and new services offered at the new-and-improved Bliss Studio and Medi Spa here in Sayulita.
Where is Bliss Studio and Medi Spa now located?
Bliss Studio and Medi Spa was previously located on Jose Mariscal (across from El Itakate tacos). We are now located at 26 Calle Marlin on the 2nd floor above Agave liquors, between Sayulita Public House and Bar Don Pato.
What is the best thing about the new location?
Our new space has a very comfortable and inviting feel to it, with a combination of strength and softness in the décor. Continuing with our “Tiffany Blue” color theme, the large chandelier provides a sense of opulence, while the beautiful parota wood bar and use of steel lend an industrial vibe to the space. We now also have a magnificent view of the jungle and Nanzal area of Sayulita, as well as the perfect viewing area of the plaza from our terrace balcony.
Why did you select this location, and what sort of renovations went into getting the new space ready?
Before I took over the space, it was all painted black, and all of the plumbing and electrical needed to be replaced. Needless to say, an enormous amount of love and patience went into the build and renovation of this space. Our new location was selected and designed to give our guests optimum luxury and relaxing service experiences in Sayulita.
What are some of the new services provided at Bliss Studio and Medi Spa
We now offer a fully extended list of spa services! In addition to our traditional manicures and pedicures, we now also provide face and body waxing, sugaring, facials, eyelash extensions, micro-needling, dermaplaning and botox, and hair & makeup services. Furthermore, we are introducing "Heaven at Bliss"- our new spa room and our new aesthetics provider, Rochelle Lynam, PA-C. Finally, if clients mention this article when making their appointment, they will receive 20% off their next haircut, mani-pedi, facial or waxing service at Bliss.
What can guests expect when coming to Bliss Studio and Medi Spa?
They can expect the same excellent and professional services that we were already known for. Some extra perks are that our space is fully air conditioned, and we offer champagne cocktails, espresso, teas, and sparkling water to our guests. Bliss Studio and Medi Spa continues to be the perfect place to host bridal party events or group events, such as mani-pedi parties, cocktail evenings, or spa groups. Even better, our new location now makes for excellent "Sayulita watching" of the plaza.
What are your hours and how can guests make appointments?
Our hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pre-booked appointments as well as walk-ins are welcome.
