Sayulita Wine Shop has been serving and selling delicious imported and local wines to Sayulita, as well as offering fun wine tasting events, lovingly known as “Wine Wednesdays.” Now, with some recent changes and new services added to their repertoire, Sayulita Wine Shop is even better equipped to provide you with all of your wine needs in Sayulita. Owners Gisela and Calixto explain some of their new offerings and events.
“We are happy to announce that Sayulita Wine Shop will now be offering HOME DELIVERY SERVICE to our customers residing in Sayulita and Punta Mita! This means if there is a particular wine, case of wine, Mezcal, or authentic cuban cigar that you would like, we are here to deliver it right to your front door! Let’s say you’re hosting a party, event, or just relaxing at home. What if you run out of your favorite rose while lounging by the pool? Well, rest assured! We can solve this problem by delivering exactly what you need directly to you, PRONTO. In most cases, we only take thirty minutes or less to complete our deliveries, depending on the location.
Other new changes are that we now accept all types of credit cards, as well as cash, Apple Pay, and PayPal. Furthermore, we can also try to accommodate any special requests for wine that we may not carry, and thus try to source it for our customers. In addition, we can have orders delivered ahead of time to casas, villas, and hotels, for guests that want their favorites available and stocked for them immediately when they arrive.
Another change that we have implemented is that we now offer a 45 minute Mezcal tasting experience, where we explain the entire history of Mezcal, the process of how it is made, and the essentials of the Agave based drink. The Mezcal experience includes tastings of four premium Mezcals from various regions of Mexico. We also have daily wine flights upon request, and of course we are continuing our popular and fun wine tasting “Wine Wednesdays”.
The atmosphere in our shop is air-conditioned, filled with jazz music, and the lingering scent of wine barrels. Clients experience a great feeling when at the shop, as they get to enjoy a glass of wine, flip through beautiful art books, and watch the international crowds as they walk among the streets of Sayulita.
Finally, we also now have a section of our wine shop dedicated to unique textiles from around Mexico, as well as gorgeous tequila-filled vintage flasks from England (which make excellent gifts). We have beautiful artisanal hand-crafted jewelry from Kalosoma, (the name of the jewelry designer) sourced from Mexico City where she works with over 100 artisans throughout the country. All are of the highest quality and very unique. These make for excellent gifts all around. We are open from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and are open for the holidays!"
