For its fourth year, Mar Y Vida Campamento Infantil (Sayulita Kids Summer Camp) was another great success. This year, 12 promising local Sayulita children participated in the summer camp along with the help of three Counselors-in-Training.

The kids enjoyed five days full of fun activities such as; surf lessons, arts & crafts, jungle exploration, bird watching, a boat ride aboard the Ally Cat, and ocean safety courses from Bahia de Banderas. They also received surprises including gift bags, backpacks, school supplies, and surf equipment. Transportation, lunch, and snacks were also included.

In addition, and in the spirit of giving back to the community, the organization has also donated a contraption in the shape of a fish to collect recyclable plastic bottles as well as portable containers to collect and recycle used cigarettes, both of which cause significant pollution to our oceans. These contraptions will soon be placed in highly accessible parts of town.

Mar Y Vida Campamento Infantil is held annually during the summer months in Sayulita for kids from low-income households and is always free of charge. The summer camp operates on a donation basis only and accepts contributions year-round. To donate to the cause click HERE.
