Can you tell us a little about yourself?<\/strong><br>Hi, I\u2019m Andrea Nardo, an Italian chef with a passion for food and music. I manage <em>The Embers<\/em> in Sayulita, <em>Habibi<\/em> in San Pancho, and the monthly event <em>Aperitivo<\/em>. My love for cooking started as a child, inspired by my mom\u2019s incredible dishes. At 16, I enrolled in culinary school, and by 22, I moved to London to explore international cuisine and travel across Asia and the Middle East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How did you discover Sayulita for the first time?<\/strong><br>Honestly, I had never even heard of Sayulita before coming here. I was invited to open a restaurant while I was living in Tulum, and that\u2019s how I ended up here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What made you fall in love with this place?<\/strong><br>The natural beauty, the vibrant colors, the positive energy, and the sense of community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why did you decide to start your business here?<\/strong><br>Because I want to live in Sayulita, and I see it as a town full of growth and opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What can a customer expect when dining at The Embers?<\/strong><br>A unique dining experience unlike anything else in Sayulita. Our menu is a fusion of Mediterranean flavors with an Asian twist, all crafted using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Any recommendations from the menu?<\/strong><br>If you want to play it safe, the Pancetta is our standout dish right now. But if you\u2019re in the mood for something fun and adventurous, try the Chicken &amp; Waffle\u2014it\u2019s a must!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Do you have any memorable moments with customers you\u2019d like to share?<\/strong><br>I\u2019ve had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful customers. One of the most memorable experiences was being invited to cook at a camp during the Burning Man Festival in Nevada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Anything else you\u2019d like to add?<\/strong><br>For me, food is about embracing life. If you don\u2019t try new things, you miss out on exciting, delicious experiences.
