The Starboard Sayulita SUP Open 2025<\/strong>, presented by MexHome, made waves once again, delivering an action-packed weekend filled with world-class talent, intense racing, and non-stop energy from start to finish. This year\u2019s event was bigger and better than ever. With competitions kicking off daily at 8 AM and award ceremonies at 4:30 PM, there was never a dull moment\u2014including an epic after-party at Casa Pepe, wrapping up the weekend in true Sayulita style!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over 800 spectators and competitors gathered on Sayulita\u2019s shores to witness SUP Surf, Distance, and Technical Races, plus the fan-favorite Starship World Championship, where teams battled it out for glory. The event brought together world champions, rising stars, and local athletes, proving once again why Sayulita is the SUP capital of Mexico. A huge shoutout to all the incredible athletes who gave it their all on the water, showcasing skill, endurance, and pure passion for the sport!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event wouldn\u2019t have been possible without the dedicated sponsors who helped make it happen\u2014MexHome<\/strong> as the title sponsor, Surf Mexico<\/a><\/strong> handling event logistics, Fernando Stalla & Stalla Surf Center<\/strong> ensuring top international athletes returned to compete, and Aztron<\/strong> bringing the excitement with incredible raffle prizes, including a complete wing foil setup. Sayulinda Hotel<\/a><\/strong> hosted the welcome party, while Casa Pepe<\/strong> generously provided accommodations for pro athletes. The festivities continued at Escondido Bar<\/a><\/strong>, a longtime supporter now celebrating its new location on the North Side of the bridge, and Mar Sayulita<\/strong>, where attendees gathered for tacos and drinks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A huge thanks also goes out to Cachasol Tequila, which gave attendees a taste of their soon-to-launch brand with a raicilla tasting experience at the entrance to Patzquaro. Tracsa played a key role in supplying essential equipment and support to ensure the event ran smoothly. Punta Topika<\/a><\/strong>, formerly Punta Sayulita, continued its long-standing partnership with the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
