I am so happy to be here sharing recipes that are tried and true, and that I truly love! I wanted to share something really yummy with you all, and I finally decided on Fudgy Brownies. A site called <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thekitchen.com\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">thekitchen.com<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> set up a taste test using brownie recipes from Martha Stewart, Ina Garten, the Pioneer Woman, and Alton John, and Alton John\u2019s Brownies were clearly the winner. I made them yesterday to take to an afternoon get together and they were perfect for a late Sayulita snack; fudgy, simple to make, and oh so delicious!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Guess what? The deep chocolate flavor comes from Cocoa rather than from the more expensive Bar Chocolate. How great is that; it calls for ingredients that most bakers already always have on hand in their kitchen pantry. These brownies were a big hit at my get together. I served them with a generous dollop of whipped cream, and the compliments kept rolling in.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The recipe is below. You can leave your review or report in my comments section on my <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sayulitalife.com\/live-love-eat\">Sayulita Life Webpage.<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>THE WINNING ALTON BROWN\u2019S FUDGY BROWNIES<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: (slightly modified)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>INGREDIENTS:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">-Soft butter for greasing the pan<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">-Flour for dusting the buttered pan<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">-4 large eggs<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">-\u00be cup white sugar<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">-\u00be cup brown sugar<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">-8 ounces melted butter<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">-1 &amp; \u00bc cups cocoa, sifted<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">-2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0-\u00bd cup flour, sifted<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0-\u00bd teaspoon salt<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>METHOD:<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Butter and flour an 8&#215;8 pan<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Beat the eggs in large mixing bowl until very fluffy and light yellow in color<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Add both sugars<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Add remaining ingredients, and mix to combine<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Set in oven, and bake for 45 minutes <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(*It is critical to not over-bake, so begin testing with a toothpick at 35 minutes. Stick the toothpick in the center of the brownies and then remove rapidly to see if there is residue or not. If there is no residue, the brownies are done. Each oven can be slightly different; my oven took 43 minutes.)<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Remove to a rack to cool <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(*Please resist the temptation to cut into until cool.)<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Serve with a dollop of lightly sweetened whipped cream or vanilla ice cream<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oh my goodness, these are so delicious, and you will love them.
