As of Sunday, Nayarit had recorded 1,667 confirmed cases\u00a0 \u2013 including more than 800 in Tepic \u2013 and 190 deaths.<\/p>\n

\u00a0The governor announced that people who fail to wear face masks in public places or use the streets as a \u201crecreational space\u201d will face fines. Furthermore, businesses that fail to implement measures to protect their employees and customers from the risk of Coronavirus will also be sanctioned. He urges citizens to be responsible. <\/p>\n

Nayarit currently has 615 active Covid-19 cases, of which 296 are in Tepic and 78 in the coastal municipality of Bah\u00eda de Banderas.<\/p>\n
