{"id":5602,"date":"2022-03-22T14:50:37","date_gmt":"2022-03-22T20:50:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sayulitalife.com\/sayulero\/?p=5602"},"modified":"2022-03-22T14:50:37","modified_gmt":"2022-03-22T20:50:37","slug":"prosayulita-clean-streets-safe-water-and-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sayulitalife.com\/sayulero\/prosayulita-clean-streets-safe-water-and-more\/","title":{"rendered":"ProSayulita: Clean Streets, Safe Water and More"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Clean Streets, Safe Water and More.&nbsp;<\/strong>Since 2005, ProSayulita, a local non-profit, has been committed to improving the quality of life in our town.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Most recently, ProSayulita partnered with the Delegada (our local representative working with the Mayor of Bahia Banderas) to clean the streets in the downtown area.<\/li>\n<li>In the next few days, ProSayulita is sponsoring water testing at key points in the ocean and the river.&nbsp;Testing will now happen 4 times a year at strategic times, to ensure the safety of the water for tourists and locals.&nbsp; Keep an eye out for the results. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>ProSayulita wants to continue to make a difference in our<em>&nbsp;pueblo<\/em>&nbsp;but relies on memberships and individual donations to fulfill its vital mission. The pandemic, not surprisingly, negatively affected its level of funding.
