Sayulita Life’s $5000 February donation goes to The Sayulita Jaibos Baseball Teams. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Pedro Navarro Lopez, the volunteer coach for both the Junior and Infantil (young children) of the past six years, tells us a bit more about what the donation will go toward. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Jaibitos team is trying to raise funds to buy a batting cage that will be used by all practicing, from the children to the adult teams, this cage has an approximate cost of 28,000 pesos.<\/p>\n

The Jaibitos have upcoming tournaments in the Telmex cup and the school cup on the 9th of February.<\/strong><\/p>\n

To the Jaibitos, Sayulita Baseball team.<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. What is the organization and what do they do?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A volunteer-led baseball team with regular practice and tournaments.<\/p>\n

3. How long have they been around?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Jaibos team has been around since the 1970s, and the Jaibitos children’s team has been around for about 6 years.<\/p>\n

5. What will the money be used for?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A new batting cage for all teams to practice with.<\/p>\n

6. Where can people donate?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Donations can be made at the baseball field directly to the coach Pedro Navarro Lopez (+52 1 322 323 8394) or to Nelly Zulema Rodr\u00edguez L\u00f3pez, the treasurer (+52 1 322 888 2399).<\/p>\n
