What D\u00eda de Muertos means at The Dock<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

For us, D\u00eda de Muertos is more than costumes and decorative skulls. It is a deeply Mexican and deeply human celebration: a way of understanding that death is not the end, but part of the feast.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year at The Dock, we created more than a seasonal menu. We created a ritual. Xolo, Umbral, and Mictl\u00e1n tell a story of departure and return, of remembrance and reunion. Here, those who have passed on eat, raise a glass, and never truly leave us.<\/span><\/p>\n

Introducing our Day of the Dead Specials:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Mexica underworld, served on a plate. A black risotto, creamy and deep as the eternal night, with juicy mushrooms that evoke the stones along the path to Mictl\u00e1n. Across the top, a glimmer of liquid gold: a sauce made with cempas\u00fachil flowers, the same flowers we place on our altars to remember those we miss and tell them, \u201cYour place is still here at the table.\u201d Pairs well with our special festive cocktails: Xolo and Umbral or Albari\u00f1o or Ros\u00e9 wines. Available at the Dock from October 26th to November 7th.<\/span><\/div>\n
