Spice Market proudly brings its innovative Southeast Asian cuisine to the W Punta de Mita, 30 min away from Sayulita. Born in New York and with outposts in Doha and London, our signature restaurant is a love letter of sorts to the simple yet sumptuous street fare of Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia, inspired by Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s experiences there. Food is served family-style, with plates arriving continuously throughout the meal and placed at the center of the table for everyone to share.

Feast on dishes like chicken samosas with cilantro-infused yogurt, a vinegar-infused pork vindaloo, and halibut cha ca la, bursting with regional flavors. Stop by the bar for an expertly crafted cocktail, or host a get-together at one of our communal tables.

Our Chef Ismael Gonzales was born in Mexico City on March 7th in 1981. Graduated from the Superior School of Gastronomy, began his career with Starwood Hotels at Westin Boston Waterfront; later continued his career in Four Seasons and after this, he began an adventure in the Andean lands of Lima, Peru where he learned Peruvian Cuisine from the ceviche to the Stir-Fried Beef. On his return to Mexico he joined Starwood Hotels for the second time at W Mexico City, where he was part of the opening "J by José Andrés" restaurant as Sous Chef . Ismael grew up in Oaxaca and his biggest culinary inspiration comes from his grandmother who thought him how to perfectly blend the extraordinary traditional flavors.

Great service, ambiance and food
I was very impressed by this restaurant. We were a group of five and all shared the food. Not only was the food absolutely amazing but they catered to my vegan friend excellently and made sure she was happy with her choices. The tuna tar tar my personal favorite. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and seating really comfortable as well. Service was great. An all around great experience!

Definitely a great restaurant for an out-of-Sayulita adventure!

Food and Service is Excellent
Having eaten at Spice Market London over 100 times and also many times at the original NYC version before they closed we were looking forward to trying the Outlook final Spice Market after being in Doha earlier in the year!

At the same time we did wonder how would it compare, we needn't have worried at all as it was all superb!

The service much like the rest of the service at W Punta de Mita is excellent! The food is also just what you would expect at Spice Market, the flavours are spot on. The traditional dishes like Chicken Samosas are just as they should be while there are a few alterations to fit the location on some items on the menu.

The restaurant itself looks really good, apart from the far wall which is all black and looks a little unfinished. The bar area and ceiling however fit perfectly!

Having had a couple of meals there now the service has been friendly and helpful each time and the food consistently really good. One of the great things about the Spice Market menu and concept is you can order various flavours and share them so it's easy to return and enjoy totally different meals each time!

It is Spice Market at its best!

Delicious food in a beautiful atmosphere
I had one of the best dinners of my life at the Spice Market at the W in Punta Mita. I loved the southeast Asian cuisine, everything I tried was exquisite! From the appetizer to the dessert, each bite transported me to heaven! They had tons of vegetarian and vegan options as well as something for all the meat lovers in our party. Everyone at the table raved about the food and there were zero complaints. The staff is spot on, helpful without being intrusive. This is one of those not to miss places when visiting the Sayulita area. This will be my go-to spot for special occasions, and I can't wait to go back.

Our group of five had a wonderful meal at the Spice Market. Each of us were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and by the wonderful flavors of the dishes. We sampled a large variety from the menu and from appetizer to dessert, every dish was fresh, interesting and really delightful to eat. I look forward to returning soon.
