Description

Casa del Zorro provides some of the best and most sweeping views of Sayulita, the Pacific Ocean, distant jungles and rolling waves. This house is perfect for a couple of friends, or two couples looking to enjoy the village of Sayulita, Mexico from a distance without being located in the hustle/ bustle of the town center.

The house has a lower level casita  with a kitchen and a bathroom and a living area separate from the rest of the house.

The second level has two two bedrooms (each with its own full bath) with a large covered deck in front. The upper  level is a new kitchen and living room enclosed area. The rest of the level is all covered deck area with a beautiful view. The kitchen is fully furnished allowing guest to easily cook a variety of meals using ingredients purchased from the local Sayulita vendors. Bottled drinking water is also provided.

The two upstairs master bedrooms are connected with a common terrace where guests can relax for hours watching Sayulita’s fishing fleet, breaching whales (Nov-Mar), sailboats, dolphins, or just gazing at the waves as they roll onto the perfect beaches.

Casa del Zorro is located on Nanzal Hill on the North side. The house is within walking distance of both the north-end beach as well as the town plaza. However, the incredible views from Casa del Zorro are the result of the house’s location on one of Sayulita’s surrounding hillsides. The walk to the house is steep and if you are not used to physical exercise, a rental car is recommended. You can also hire a taxi to take you to the house from the town square for only about $4 USD/trip.

Maid service is provided for all guests who stay at Casa del Zorro.

Relaxing, Casual and Great Hospitality
Casa Zorro is fantastic, with amazing views along with the sounds of the ocean and birds.
The "vibe"made it so easy to relax and unwind in between our rich activities in town and at the beach.
Marshall's hospitality made a great vacation even better. Most relaxing vacation we've had in years!

Nicest host, perfect views!
We spent New Years Eve in Casa Zorro and it has been the perfect house and the best host we could ask for. We were 4, and had plenty of space. The house was very clean, with new furniture and a complete (very complete!) kitchen.

Marshall took care of us, providing speakers, that we forgot to bring with us, the very first day. He even brought more towels in case ours were wet from the beach! It was nice knowing that he could help us, always kind and very nice to talk to.

The only thing we regret is not being able to spend a few more days in this lovely house!

We will definitely come back soon.

Best view in town - excellent accommodation
This is a very nice house in the top of the hill, sunsets are the most beautiful thing in the pacific, so the view from the Fox house is just amazing... You don't need anything in the house, it's like you are in your own place, even the blender makes great Margaritas...

Beautiful view and tranquil surf
I stayed in Casa Zoro for the first two weeks of January 2014, with friends. The place is really amazing - if you want an ocean view that is unbeatable! But far enough away from the noises of people. Peaceful and tranquil - waking every morning and sleeping every night with the sound of the surf - and the stunning view just transported you out of your busy thoughts and into opening to a beach paradise! Beautiful balcony ocean view with a constant cool breeze ran the length of the upstairs with ample room for entertaining guests! If you are looking for a stunning beach view and quiet peace with walking distance to the beach this is where you want to be! A tremendous perk is Marshall the owner - he is in easy contact for any questions or concerns - working with him was very comfortable and he goes out of his way to ensure you have a happy, clean and care-free stay! So Enjoy!!

Best view in town
I've been meaning to do this for some time now... as Marshall and his little hide-a-way deserve some publicity and props.

We stayed here for 3 months last year. Marshall is GREAT. He even picked us up at the PV airport. A bigger deal than it really sounds like, as he had been in an auto accident the day before. He STILL made it to pick us up. He gave us all the emergency phone numbers... including (the most important one) the number to have ICE COLD beer DELIVERED to the house for $180 pesos a case. He gave us our space... but kept an eye on us, since we were there without a car for 3 months.

CASA ZORRO: If you're looking for privacy... and a spectacular view, this is the place for you. The house is a bit rustic, but it's CLEAN, new deck furniture and comfy beds. As far as the rustic part goes... hey, it's Mexico, not Hawaii. No pool, but a short walk to the beach, although the walk is a bit STEEP. The video below illustrates part of the cobblestone road up the house. Being an old surveyor, I had to measure it... 33%! Most treadmills only go as steep as 20%.

The DECK was probably our favorite part of the casa. HUGE COVERED DECK... nice breeze, new furniture, cool tropical birds make their way up the hill each day, flying from tree to tree.

For the sports fans... Casa Zorro has 2 satellite receivers (Shaw for the Canadians and Dish for the non-Canadians). Hockey and Football... how can you beat that?

As mentioned this is not Maui... we like it better!

We loved it so much... we're coming back in 2014 for 3 1/2 months.

Amazing view. Beyond our expectations!
My partner and I stayed for a month over Christmas at Casa Zorro. The deck is huge, with non stop views of the ocean. I enjoyed lying in the king sized bed and just staring at the view. This is a very quiet location, all you can hear is the pounding of the surf below and the visiting exotic birds. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes and to town another 5. The hill going to the house is quite steep, so if you are fit and like walking, you won't mind the climb. We managed without a car for the first 3 weeks of our stay, but next time for ease I would get a car or golf cart to get around. The owner was fantastic, and was a big help to us during our stay.
