Description
Casa Cameroon in Sayulita is a magnificent 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom vacation home perched above the promenade in Sayulita, Mexico. This elevated locating provides incredible views from almost every area in the house (especially the rooftop terrace!) Every bedroom has a view of the ocean. Walk to the beach in 4 minutes!
All bedrooms have been created as master-suites and have private baths. Two bedrooms are located on the second floor while the third is privately situated at the pool level. The bedrooms are bright, airy and spacious with plenty of natural sunlight.
The pool area has enough room for your entire family or group to enjoy the refreshing plunge or listening to the constant rock waterfall cascading into the pool. The pool area alternates between sun and shade depending upon the time of day.
The kitchen is fully equipped and provides a bar area to serve drinks and coffee. The dining room and living room are melding and offer a large L-shaped couch for a comfortable place to read a book or take a nap!
One of Casa Cameroon's greatest assets is the rooftop terrace complete with shade, sun, tables, and chairs. This area is the perfect place (morning, noon, evening) to simply relax and watch the ocean and village and its daily routines. the rooftop has 360 degree views of the ocean and the jungle.
Special note, though the views from the house are provided by its elevated location, it is necessary to go up and down access steps or the inclined access lane to reach the house. A rental car is not necessary but will allow for easier transport. We recommend a golf cart for easy access and they are really FUN!

Love Casa Cameroon!
Our family had a fantastic time at Casa Cameroon. Love the multi-level house and its location up high on the hill with great views down to downtown Sayulita the beach, and all the way to Monkey Mountain to the south. Great for kids with the swimming pool. Literally, a 10min walk to downtown, but easy to rent a golf cart to make it up the hill. The owners, Cameron & Tricia, are great and we loved the property manager, Alfredo. So nice and helpful. We highly recommend this property and would love to come back!

Great Experience!!!
Casa Cameroon was a great stay for my family. The Casa was clean and well supplied with all the kitchen supplies you needed (dishes, cups, pans, etc). The view from the rooftop is incredible. The casa is located on a pretty steep hill, not a problem for my family, but could be an issue for anyone with problems walking. Golf Cart is highly recommended. Tricia and her staff were very accommodating and helpful.

Great location with fabulous views
We spent a week here in late May and I have been meaning to write a review since then. The location of Casa Cameroon is ideal, it is a quick walk to town and about 10 minutes to the beach .You have all the amenities of Sayulita ,but are able to get away to your own private tropical retreat up on the hill.Morning coffees on the roof top deck, or late afternoon cocktails with spectacular sunsets are a must. The house is clean secure and because of the location has a continual light breeze, we never needed the air conditioning. I would highly recommend this property.

Had a fabulous time. Even better then the photos. Within walking distance to 3 different beaches and town. Great roof top deck to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets as well as meals or cocktails. The view is worth the stairs as you are on a hill with a nice breez
The town has everything, shopping, great restaurants, spas and music. Friendly people and we felt very safe. Beaches are clean and have all amenities readily available. Loved just hanging out at the house after a day at the beach and enjoying a nice long shower and chips and guacamole on one of the many patios or pool side. Can’t wait to go back. Would definitely recommend it to a family, friends or a girls trip as we did. Loved being up high above town. Felt like we were in a tree house.

The Casa Cameroon was amazing, with amazing views, we really enjoyed our stay here and would happily stay here again! Location is exactly where you want to be, 5 minutes’ walk to shops, restaurants and beach. All the rooms are spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We will defiantly be back!

5-Star Vacation at Casa Cameroon!
We had SUCH a great time here - we didn’t want to leave! Thank you for the pristine accommodations, every possible amenity, the stunning view and proximity to the beach and to Sayulita and all it has to offer - we can’t wait to go back! This was the first REAL vacation for my husband and I in 11 years and boy, was it worth it! We didn’t want to work, but had to a bit so were grateful for the WiFi, and besides -- working by that gorgeous pool didn’t seem like work! This was the perfect time of year, too. We fished, we sunbathed, we got great (and cheap!) massages, found some STEALS at the Farmer’s Market and enjoyed the street cafes plus we made a side trip to San Pancho (Maria’s was the bomb!). And while we had the 3-BR, 4-BA house to ourselves, but we plan to bring more family with us next time. We can’t keep this amazing experience all to ourselves!

Magical!!!
Wow!! Just returned from an amazing week's stay at Casa Cameroon with my family! We couldn't have been happier!! The house was spectacular!! Every room was immaculate and spacious and the owner very friendly and accommodating. We particularly enjoyed the remarkable views from the rooftop deck and relaxing by the cascading waterfall pool!! So close to the beach and shops too. Sayulita is a small, authentic, family friendly community with plenty of activities to offer. There's surfing, yoga, zip-lining, snorkeling, boat cruises, spas....you name it. It has something for everyone!!! Can't wait to go back next year!!!

Beautiful home in an amazing little town!
My wife and I spent a week at Casa Cameroon in October - it was an amazing vacation and so nice to stay at the Casa with a full kitchen and pool, rather than a hotel. It was a little hotter than usual at the time we visited, so it was very nice that we had the option to turn on the bedroom A/C to sleep on the nights that a breeze was lacking. The Casa was clean, spacious, and quiet - perfect for a romantic beach getaway.
The Casa is situated within an easy 10 minute walk to the beach. We spent our days under the umbrellas at Don Pedro's, afternoons back at the Casa pool, and walked back to town for dinner at night. While it was technically off season and the neighboring towns were deserted, Sayulita still had a great vibe with plenty to keep us entertained. Everyone was extremely friendly (vacationers and locals) and, even though the beach has a lot of vendors that come up to you throughout the day, we felt very safe leaving our belongings at our umbrella when we would head out to swim, surf, kayak, etc.
We opted for a rental car rather than taxi or bus; this allowed us to explore San Pancho, Punta Pita and do a day adventure trip in Puerto Vallarta. Parking was secure at Casa Cameroon with convenient access to Hwy 200. (Rental tip: from Mex Rent-a-Car or Fox, reserve online and select the SLI insurance option which is actually mandatory in MX).
Overall, we highly recommend Casa Cameroon and Sayulita!

Wonderful location and great accommodations!
We had a great 3-week stay at Casa Cameroon. It is located perfectly on a hill within a couple of blocks to the beach and town but above all the fray. There were mostly two couples but part of the time we had three couples and Casa Cameroon had plenty of room for all with the downstairs casita. There is off street parking on the Cielo street side. The rooftop was perfect place to enjoy sunset with drinks or to just relax midday. There was always a cool breeze and we never had to use the AC. Security was excellent with good locks and window protection. The layout is perfect with the kitchen open to the dining and living areas. The helpers, Alfredo and Yesinia were very good keeping us stocked with essentials and cleaning when requested. The beds were very comfortable and each room had a great walk-in shower, some with a view of the beach. The views from all of the rooms is spectacular with a beautiful horizon view of the ocean from many rooms. At night the sound of the surf break lulled us to sleep. The pool was great for cooling off or just soaking our feet after the climb from town. I recommend Casa Cameroon without reservation. RM
