IT's all about PRIVACY and BEAUTY. A truly romantic beautiful hand-crafted casa, located on 2.5 acres with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. From anywhere on the property you can watch spectacular sunsets 365 days a year. We can confidently say that this house has the most incredible views on this portion of the coastline. Whales and dolphins are frequently seen from both houses.
Our photos are not shot to deceive in fact guests report the accommodations to be better than expected rather than another disappointing experience.
MAIN HOUSE: If tropical privacy, peace and romance, and/or spiritual rejuvenation is what you're looking for then Casa Carricitos can be your personal paradise. Charming as Sayulita is , it can be noisy with disco music and town activities. At Casa Carricitos Nature surrounds you with swaying palms, tropical birds, and butterflys. The sweeping views take in Monkey Mountain, the palapas of Haramara Yoga Retreat Center, Punta Mita (a distant peninsula) and the sand and waves of Carricitos Beach below.
We lovingly call it "stare therapy" as in: sit and just stare. The landscape appears to be constantly changing; the waves, the sounds, the light, the winds in the palms.....or a five minute walk thru the jungle will take you to your own secluded beach.
Located a HALF MILE from the Plaza Casa Carricitos is surrounded by an ECOLOGICAL PRESERVE that is part of the largest tropical forest in Mexico. The only sounds you hear from the property are the sounds of Nature and waves upon the shore. The beach below the house is secluded enough to allow European style sunbathing, with descretion.
This property is a bird watchers mecca, with over 70 species seen in the surrounding jungle. If surfing is your thing, you can check the swell size, direction and wind from Sayulita to Punta Mita from the deck.
As you step through the front door a sweeping view of the ocean, mountains, jungle and beaches greet your eyes. The MAIN HOUSE has been decorated with an Asian flare, Balinese ikats, Thai silks, Buddhas, Indian and Burmese artifacts and more.
It is serene, temple-like and comfortable. A wrap around deck has a built in Balinese style lounging bed, great for watching sunsets and stars at night. The living room has been designed for comfort, lounging and the deck is fantastic for yoga, some couples choose to sleep there. There are bifold doors and windows for indoor/outdoor living and comfort.
The detached Master Bedroom has a kingsize bed and a spectacular bathroom, the building is located just off the deck. Both bedrooms provide ample privacy from each other and both have air conditioning. The detached bedroom is decorated with Tibetan and Burmese art and artifacts, and is literally breathtaking in its beauty.
The interior bedroom has a king size bed, mosquitos nets, screened windows and sculpted bathroom.
CASITA GANESHA GUEST HOUSE: With its own private path/parking and entry CASITA GANESHA is its own little world. You enter into a round living and full kitchen area with a palapa style roof. The bedroom and bath lie beyond. The art again reflects the Asian influence and of course the Ganesha the Elephant who removes obstacles is there to greet you.
From the king size bed you gaze out over the tree tops and ocean and feel like you are living in the trees. There are wonderful ocean views/sounds and parrots and pelicans flying by at eye level. It is magical and refreshing. There is a large mosquito net around the bed and bi-fold wood and glass windows open to the view and tree tops. Your own private garden terrace sits below. CASITA GANESHA is perfect for the couple on a budget, desiring privacy and special vacation to remember forever.

RENTAL RATES

We have a five night minimum for single bedrooms or one couple.

Deposit: 50% of rental amount to reserve houses; balance due no less than thirty days prior to occupancy.
Cancellation: Up to thirty days prior to occupancy deposit refunded, less a 20% service charge.
Full payment is required thirty days before occupancy. If after full payment a cancellation is necessary a 20% service charge will be deducted from the the full rental price. If the house does not re-rent then the house will be considered rented by you and the full amount of the rental fee will be retained.

Outstanding all around!
Our second trip to Sayulita; we had spotted this place from the beach and wanted to know more! The location is idyllic; just a short walk into town, but very secluded. The home is tastefully appointed with Asian and local artifacts, the grounds are lovely and the pool is a fantastic addition! The view from the main house is stunning. I highly recommend binoculars and a Bird Guidebook; there are so many great birds to see. The owners mentioned "stare therapy". Stay here and you will understand. With all the great activities in the area, one could be content simply staring out from the patio.. All day long. We were there in January, where we observed a non-stop flow of migrating whales. Add to the place: the caretakers. The grounds and trail to the beach are wonderfully kept, and we were able to arrange the best massages ever without leaving the property. We also arranged excellent private yoga instruction on the patio. Added surprise: arrange to have Carmen cook an authentic meal for you, muy fantastico! The owners mentioned something that resonated with my wife and I: after traveling much of the world, including some 48 hour journeys to the farthest reaches to find paradise, we overlooked the fact that it was only a mere 4 hour flight from Seattle.

One of the prettiest spots on earth
My wife and i just stayed here. The view is a million dollar view. The house is beautiful and the new infinity pool is breathtaking. The lush tropical jungle with red bouganvilla and gold sand, turqoise water of the ocean below combine for a really special place. The walk to town via villa amore is fun and easy and a cab back at night was reasonable and easy also. We didnt rent a car like we usually do and did fine without. Next time we will rent a car but only so we can go further afield, like tepic, chacalla etc. This is a wonderful value as well.
