She takes great pleasure in the opportunity to create vibrant, delicious & nourishing meals using high quality local & tropical seasonal ingredients. She particularly enjoys bringing traditional Mexican food practices to her meals.
Chef Mendicuti has extensive experience and worked in Sayulita & Riviera Nayarit for 8 years as a private chef in the professional restaurant industry, traveling throughout the Riviera. She considers her nomadic-chef lifestyle to have played a pivotal role in developing her eclectic & adventurous food aesthetic, as well as her bold & colorful palette; having been profoundly influenced by the Mexican food and culture she has explored over the years.
When she is not developing menus, creating new recipes, or hosting a private client dinner, she enjoys rambling in the jungle and woods for a cache of wild boletes & thimbleberries.

This Chef Makes Me So Happy!!!
Chef Cecilia and her staff provided an amazing experience for me and my family! So much so that we invited her back for a second dinner! The Ceviche, Birria, French Toast, soups, oh my!!! We were so happy to have Chef Cecilia and her team make a special dinner onsite during our stay at Cinetica Estates. She was so easy to work with ahead of time, planning our delicious menu for a large group. On the evening of our meal, the team arrived, began cooking in the kitchen, served an incredible meal, and left the space spotless afterwards. We chose an incredible mushroom and cilantro soup for one of our courses - I could have had 3 more bowls! All the ingredients for the meal were local, fresh, coming together in elevated and beautiful food. Definitely connect with Chef Cecilia!

The BEST food, and just a delightful experience.
Cecilia and her team made our trip to Sayulita feel truly decadent! She treated us to delicious food and great conversation in the comfort of our home, which was so relaxing and wonderful. With many menus to choose from, and the ability to “mix and match” to fit our family’s tastes, Cecilia truly has it all. She shopped for fresh ingredients each day for the meals we selected. We feasted on shrimp ceviche, homemade tortilla soup, mahi mahi filets, and chicken enchiladas, just to name a few. Even our children loved every bite! If you have the chance, be sure to book Cecilia for your next trip to Sayulita, you will be SO glad you did!

Superb--best, freshest food in Sayulita
Chef Cecilia and her wonderful assistant Blanca cooked for us on the last night of our 8-day stay in Sayulita. We had eaten at what are supposed to be the best restaurants in town, and Cecilia blew them away. She had shopped that afternoon, so everything was absolutely fresh. The evening was both perfect and perfectly chill. She and Blanca are lovely people, professional and kind, and they created a very special evening for four of us. She is multi-talented, and every dish--from classics like the guacamole and tortilla soup (a highlight!) to the flourless chocolate cake (she also runs a bakery) were top notch. And after all that deliciousness, while we basked in it, they made the kitchen impeccable. Easily the best night of our vacation. Highly recommended and very reasonable prices (don't forget to tip!). We'll definitely enlist them again when we return.
